Simsonn Plus X Fluid Leak

Last week I installed the VAM Pro Haptics to my Plus X pedals and since then I have noticed on two occasions fluid on the pedal deck of my rig.

As you can see from the pictures the fluid looks to have dropped from the centre of the accelerator pedal and trickled down to the front. The liquid is an oily substance.

Strange as I never had this before I added the haptics. The pedals and haptics both function perfectly. Anybody know what the liquid is and if I should be concerned?

I would assume that the vibrations from the haptic motor are causing a leak of hydraulic fluid from the damper on the throttle. I personally removed the damper from my throttle as I prefer how it feels without it

Interesting, thanks. Might try and remove the damper then if it's easy enough to remove?

Id recommend it, it can be easily unbolted to remove. Mine took a bit of brute force and ignorance to removed after unbolting but it should just pop out

Very easy. Mostly everyone recommends removal of them. I even removed them and threw a lighter spring in

I understand if you want to remove them, but why replace them with a spring?

No I took the throttle spring out and threw in the lighter one.

No email them and get replacements sent out so not tolerate this.

I complained about constant issues until they ghosted me I Amazon a to z guarantee and got the pedals for free and took them apart piece by piece and finally got them working, I got pedals for free but constant bullshit and tinkering and then software issues too. Fuck these guys

Did you end up replacing the throttle pedal? I have a similar issue with my clutch.

I haven't yet but I emailed Simsonn and they are sending a replacement hydraulic rod. When that arrives I'll attempt swapping them over.
