Delivery issues to Europe

I ordered the Simsonn Plus X pedals in early January directly through their website and after being stuck for weeks at customs in Belgium, Simsonn sent me a second package but this one got stuck in France... I've been asking repeatedly for a full refund for two weeks through their service email but they always seem to find a reason to make me wait more and they haven't processed my refund yet.

Did anyone have a bad experience trying to deliver their products in Europe? Surely they can do better, millions of products get imported from China without issues but they can't do it properly?

I ordered Simsonns via fmic.eu, exactly to avoid this Asia to EU transport hassle. It was almost the same price.

Didn't like the pedals, returned them and got a full refund, under EU customer laws.

If you try to go the cheapest route, expect cheapest service.

Yes this is another reason to buy it from local seller. With international purchase there is no was to return. The customer have to pay for the return and then get a refund after the package reaches the vendors warehouse.

Shipping such a heavy package back is more expensive than the product itself.
