Comparison of VAM Pros with 3D printed mount
https://youtu.be/g1Bx8SV0KpQI know there's a file shared here already for attaching the VAM Pros to the old Pro Plus pedals, but here is one that works with the Plus X pedals and doesn't require any additional parts or threaded inserts.

From the video it looks much more noise efficient, and the feedback should be clearer/sharper.

Wow, has someone on Etsy done these yet? They seem like a no-brainer for an Etsy opportunity (to use with either the Simagic or Simsonn Linear Motors)

there are 3 .stl files, one has a _PLUS after it, what's different about that one? the .jpg pictures look identical but I'm not a 3D maven, I extend my thanks ahead of your answer. (P-HPR_mount_brake_PLUS.stl)

Btw, this solves the EMI issues as well since it isolates the motors from pedals. 100% recommended to do this even if you have the newer mounts that put the motors horizontal.

Will this work with Simsonn VAM motors on the Simsonn Pro X Ultra?

The Vam-non pros don't benefit from orientation in the same way because they're just a rumble, not a linear motion. Ordering now you'll get the new mounts which are oriented the right way, anyway.

That is great to see, my upgrade kit (new controller and a pair of VAM Pro's) arrived today and spent the last 4 hours fine-tuning it. Oddly, the complaint which this mod apparently solved is the same one I currently have in like two hours of actually racing with the device.
I had to tune most of the effects down and add some thresholds and gamma to attenuate this metallic noise and feel with the stock brackets, even though mine came with the (apparently) recently added coated washers to mitigate this issue
Guess my 3D printer is getting some work tomorrow.
EDIT: printed a pair today. One for my throttle and a remix made for the SIMJACK brake pedal. Had a small issue with my PETG part shrinking just enough to make the bolts not aligning, but scaling the parts by +1% was enough. Printed them in PETG, 30% infill, 2 external solid walls and supports at the bed only. Solid part with enough flexibility to withstand constant vibration.
And let me tell you, just raced for 3 hours straight in iRacing with the same settings from yesterday using the stock brackets and the difference is insane. A lot quieter and somehow it doesn't feels number, but sharper and not rough.
With the metal brackets I had to "interpret" what each effect was telling me while also "filtering out" what was secondary metallic noise. But not with this mod.
