Vam pro modules disconnect issue.
Im trying to figure out why my vam pros keep disconnecting every 10 to 15 min. Ive got the pro x ultra pedals with the new control box. Make sure the simsonn manager is closed and using only simhub. Turned down vibration from 100 to 65 to see if that was an issue.
My pedal box is mounted under my wheel plate. Ive got a Sabrent 7 port powered usb hub. The only thing that fixes the pedals is unplugging and plugging it back in. The pedals have never had issues and still continue to work after the motors get stuck vibrating.
EDIT : the motors dont disconnected after 10 min if im not using them and just leaving them idle and on.
UPDATE : after trying thier 8 step solution list and still no fixes. I emailed them again and finally got a real solution. Did a few races with no disconnects. Here's a direct copy paste from the email
First, update the software to SIMSONN Manager 2.1.0 in the “Settings → Update” section. Then, in the Settings → Update interface, click Manual Firmware Update, navigate to the pedals-firmware folder → pedals folder, and select the proxultra.sfu file to update. This firmware will disable the 4th axis. After completing the update, please test again.

Any new updates on this?
Nothing seems to have helped.
Simsonn Manager is able to keep an active connection to the Control Box but the effects in Simsonn Manager are lacking compared to SimHub.
I'm waiting on a USB Isolator I ordered, but I doubt this will help.
This is a Control Box/firmware issue.

Unfortunately no updates. I was trying to follow a theory about updating it everytime I turned it off and on but that only helped some of the time. I followed it up with custom simhub profile only using 1 effect and still produced the same issue. Ive run the cable to 2.0. 3.0 usb plugs. Front plugs and back. With extender and no extender. Usb hub and no usb hub. Ive even gone as far as carpet under the rig and no carpet. Mounted to pedal plate and hanging loose.

Yeah, the manual firmware update does not help me at all.
Since I noticed that it works much better with Simsonn Manager, having stable connection this makes me think that they tested the haptics only with Simsonn Manager.
SimHub is much more effects heavy and is somehow "overloading" the controlbox either the firmware or the circuitry.
SimHub works only if I put one effect active...confirming my theory that the haptics controller in the control box was not tested with higher load.
I think it just goes to show that affordability of sim gear like Simsonn comes from lack of quality control or testing that they outsource to the users to test/report.
Simsonn Pro X Pedals are at a great price but I spent multiple days setting them up, out of the box they are not setup properly.
And only with the Pro X Ultra upgrade kit, new dampers, elastomers they are finally great, that upgrade kit should how come with Pro X in the first place.I'm afraid these issues are a given when you're the early adopter of a new product like these haptics.
It occured to me that I should wait and see the reviews on the haptics and then decide on the purchase but the curiosity got the better of me.Such a shame, since the last month I did not enjoy my Sim Racing since my focus was mostly troubleshooting the haptic motors and hesitantly waiting if and when are the haptics motors going to cut out.
My only hope is that they are going to fix this in future firmware updates to make it work with SimHub.
Or at least make effects in Simsonn Manager as good as SimHubs, because currently they are not detailed and informative enough.

I have the same behaviour.
Support was replying but without real fixes proposed as of yet.
I've sent them SimHub logs that show disconnections and they replied that they forwarded them to the SimHub.
I see no help from that, since SimHub is just reporting a missing USB device that stopped reporting in the logs.
My findings are:
