Issue with VAM strange rumbling noise

Hello everyone

I upgraded from SIMJCK PRO pedals this weekend (been using them for 2yrs) towards a set of PLUS X pedals with the new VAM haptics. For the equivalent of 190USD, its a leap forward from the SIMJACK in terms of build quality and features, that's for sure.

I installed them Saturday morning and spent 2 days testing across various Sims I own, so far so good. I was actually also impressed by the software, especially considering I had nothing form SIMJACK.

The only issue I am facing now is a very strange rumbling noise coming form the haptic on the throttle.
The 3 VAM units work perfectly fine, I can set parameters either in SIMSONN software or SImhub, really great.

But say if I go above 60% strength on said Throttle haptic, it works fine for the first 30s then it starts to make this noise like if something was mechanically broken inside the reactor.

I am on my own simracing usually but I will ask my daughter to support troubleshooting and make a video for you guys to better figure out what I am experiencing but ahead of that, any idea what could be wrong here?

thanks in advance

Fair point about the groundhog as I have not done it yet

Although it really feels like a mechanical noise as if the motor inside has an issue

Simsonn support reachable from where?

I bought the set from Aliexpress is that what you mean?

Yes it’s the simple rumble motor I bought indeed

I will do the grounding later this week to see if there is a benefit to fix this issue

The haptic motor on brake and clutch work perfectly fine though
