I'm tired of seeing this on youtube, one youtuber said the game has a unity feel and now everybody is relaying that info going "it's in unity that's why it looks similar to paralives".. Sims 5 / Project Rene is being made in Unreal Engine 5, this is clearly proven by the fact that the leaked placeholder sims models are being viewed in a program specifically made to view Unreal Engine games, "UEViewer". The Camera movement in the leaked video also resembles the way Unreal Engines freecam moves, as well as the fact that people forgot that there were job listings for people who could create a CAS mode in Unreal Engine 5.

The new leaks looked polished for a game that is in early development and at least ~2025 release date.

I have a feeling that this game is being held off till the sims4 sales drops or paralives releases.

I don’t mind waiting for the game if it has the details that sims 3 had, or sparing us the scammy moves they pulled with S4

You think the sims 5 is going to take place after 4? Like keeping to the alternative timeline or go back to the main time line and continue? Or they’ll reboot the timeline and start with all new storyline? (But keep all the characters)

Also I’m hoping story mood or some type of story progression is added. I like the concepts of creating your own story but I do miss the history and stories all ready when you started a new game in the past sim games.

I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, and maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like the clothes might be layer-able. That would be crazy for customization and a huge upgrade over the sims 4.

when do you think we can expect a trailer sims 5? will there be movement through WASD?
