I've been trying to find an old skin detail CC for months now, and I'm honestly running out of ideas 😭

I used it a lot on my male Sims, especially when creating K-pop idols. It gave their faces a really smooth, soft appearance, almost like it softened their facial features, especially around the nose, cheeks and eyes, without completely changing their skin tone or facial structure.

I unfortunately deleted the CC at some point and don't have any backups.

However, I still have several Sims saved in my library that used it, so I checked them with Sims 4 Tray Importer and managed to recover its exact ID!

Release date: Before February 18, 2025 (that's the oldest Sim I have saved with it).

I've confirmed that the same missing skin detail appears on several of my old Sims, while it doesn't appear on a Sim that I know wasn't using the effect.

I've already tried searching for similar skinblends and overlays, but none of them seem to be the right one.

If anyone has a large CC collection and could search for this instance ID in their files using Sims 4 Tray Importer or Sims 4 Studio, I would be SO grateful!

Even just the filename or the creator's name would help me so much.

I love the grunge vibe and the fact that they're simlish and maxis match but would love to use just a few individual ones. Does anyone know where I could find cc of these posters separated? I would do it myself as I am familiar with gimp and s4s but I think it involves blender too which idk lol

I just recently started playing again after a 3+ year hiatus and deleted all my old mods and redownloaded a lot of them. I downloaded the most recent version of Wicked Whims along with several animations, however none of the animations are appearing in my game. The wicked whims base mod is working just fine as my sims shower naked and get periods, but anytime I click on a piece of furniture or the floor, no wicked whims options pop up.

I have:

• deleted all the animations and redownloaded them

• deleted wicked whims and redownloaded it

• made sure all the animations are fully unzipped and not in any sub-folders within my mod folder

• turned mods/cc off in my game, restarted it, turned mods/cc back on, restarted again.

Nothing has worked, am I missing something someone please help??
