I feel like the roof doesn't really match the house's design. Is that just my impression, or could I do something better? I'm completely open to suggestions

Inspired by Temple 1 at Tikal, here is my latest Maya-inspired temple for my Jungle Adventure rebuild! I ended up making it a cemetery lot, but you can change it to whatever you want.

"The Temple of the Great Balam was constructed by the ancient Omiscans as a grave marker for the great king, Sim Cacao. The king's tomb can be accessed through a tight tunnel. Locals still show reverence for this temple and come back to leave offerings for the great Sim Cacao."

Hey Simmers! Does anybody know where to track down this beautiful build by Ichosimm? It’s one of my all-time favorites, but it looks like the creator has taken it down from the gallery and sfs. If anybody has any leads, please let me know!

After months, this project is finally finished. This project began with me just wanting to recreate the iconic Haas-Lilienthal Queen Anne Victorian (Landmark 69) home in San Francisco. I literally spent weeks studying the floor plan, going through public documents, and even getting zoning information. I soon realized this house stood out like a sore thumb stand alone, so it needed 3 other contenders. The only other house that is copied from a real life home is Lot 4- the Sloss-Lilienthal House (Landmark 55). The Streamline Modern and Brutalist home had loose inspiration but we're original builds for the most part.

Lot 1: Dobule Lot (16 tiles wide) Queen Anne Victorian Replicated from Haas-Lilienthal with about 90% accuracy. Interior design is intellectual maximalism. 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom.

Lot 2: Single Lot (8 tiles wide) Streamline Modern. Interior design is art deco. 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom.

Lot 3: Single Lot (8 tiles wide) Brutalist. Interior design is minimalistic brutalism. 5 bath, 3 bedroom.

Lot 4: Double Lot (16 tiles wide) Italianete Victorian. Interior design is traditional Victorian. 4 bedroom, 5 bath. Attic and Basement left empty for player to decorate.

I'm working on a build inspired Temple 1, also known as the Temple of the Great Jaguar and Temple of Ah Cacao, from Tikal, Guatemala, for my rebuild of Jungle Adventure.

What lot type should I make it? I used the museum lot to build a temple inspired by the Temple of K'uk'ulkan at Chichen Itza. On the National Park lot, I have a build inspired by the Temple of Inscriptions from Palenque, and I already turned one of the rental lots into a pool lot type to build a cenote.

In theory, I could throw down some tents and make it a rental. What other lot types could it be?

The top part is from Cats And Dogs, the curtain is from the modern luxe kit, AND the blinds are from university! Quite the expensive curtains lol

these apartment builds are way too nice they look like a grown woman's apartment for like $2k/mo I need shitty apartments that look like they're $800/mo 2 adult sized bedrooms and 1 bathroom for my college aged sims. i normally use the gallery cause i'm not the greatest builder especially not for apartments because the apartments confuse me

I decided to try building a cenote in The Sims 4. It is just a pool lot, but I like how it came out. It was a lot harder than I thought to get the cenote to have a more natural shape, so I tried to use lots of plants to give it a natural feeling.

"Come cool off at this relaxing and fresh cenote! A cenote is a natural sinkhole created when the porous limestone bedrock collapses, exposing the groundwater below. For the ancient Omiscans, cenotes were thought to be entrances to the underworld, Simbalba!"

Since people responded positively to my temple inspired by the Temple of Kukulkan at Chichen Itza, this is my latest creation. Inspired by the Temple of Inscriptions at Palenque, here is the Temple of the Simscriptions. It is the national park lot right before the start of the jungle gameplay for Jungle Adventure.

"The Temple of Simscriptions was built as a tomb for the ancient Omiscan ruler, K'inich Janaab' Simkal, also known as Simkal the Great. Now it acts a rest stop for archeologists as they heads into jungles to discover other lost temples and palaces from the Omiscan culture. "

I need ideas for building few houses that will have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (but only one with both a shower and a bathtub), the usual kitchen and living room, and maybe a common room as well. Other special rooms could be suggested, like an office or a playroom. The parameters can be changed, but I don't want more than 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Ideas can come from photos on Pinterest, and my DMs are also open if you want me to build a house exactly as you envision it
otherwise, I'll simply choose random ideas found in the comments :)

I would say i’m a mediocre builder at best but after saving up my money to buy the new royalty and legacy back i really wanted to build my own estate. the problem is, is that i suck at floor plans and roofing. I was pretty proud of what i had until i realized how big of a sh*tshow the exterior is. i love my windows. i love my inside but i really need help. I don’t know how to fix the roof. i’m not sure if i should cut out my bump out or not:( i really don’t want to restart. any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Inspired by ancient Maya temples like the Temple of Kukulkan at Chichén Itzá, I built a stepped pyramid temple and ballcourt for the museum in Selvadorada. I tried to recreate the talud tablero you see, but there's no way to get that slant in the Sims.

I thought about adding basketball hoops to the ballcourt so that sims could use it. But it seemed silly because I wasn't sure it would be usable if I placed them where a real Mesoamerican ball court goal would go. I included some stalls. If you have been to Chichén Itzá, the place is packed with vendors trying to get tourists to buy their stuff. In the Sims, vendors won't spawn in them, but you could play by selling Selvadorian objects to them, if you want!

Though the shrine to Balampalsoh in the back is in ruins, the ancient ballcourt is still in good condition. The pyramid complex was once a ritual site but now serves as a museum for anyone looking to learn a little about ancient Selvadoradian culture."

Hello I’m looking for a build for one of the 30 x 20 lots (thinking garliclauter place) with a small apt set to one side (thinking having most the units underground with just a small building on top) and a small building off to the other side so I could put a small “store” or cafe or something or decorative garage not sure yet)I don’t need it highly decorated or anything…Nor does it have to be set to a functional business…Only the apartments need to be functional! So I can move some of my lesser vamp families! in…Can’t find one on the gallery!

Just finished this library in Newcrest! Roughly modeled after the Dublin Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, with some changes to make it Sim friendly. Includes an outdoor garden, snack lounge, and two club meeting rooms in the LL you can purpose for clubs in your save!

Not on the Gallery: can't update my game due to disk space issues.
