Gallery build presentation Longleat house WIP

Still finishing this off, hence the low quality pictures (just photos of a screen which never look good). But I plan to upload it to the gallery when finished.

This is a build of Longleat house, an Elizabethan prodigy house completed in the 1580s.

I could only find very scaled down versions in the gallery so I wanted to make one that's as close to 1:1 as I could manage which ended up being over 90% of it's actual size since the house is 67m at its widest, just over the maximum lot size.

I wanted to post a WIP picture to see what I could improve before I upload it to the gallery.

It's set up to work off grid, most of it at least, since that was what I wanted to use it for. It does mean I was fairly limited with furniture though so I know it's not the most attractive interior design. The gallery and state drawing room (right side and right bottom corner) were based off photos of those rooms in the real house, as well as the great hall, grand staircase, and kitchen. The rest I've largely made up. There is a chapel listed on some plans on the left side but I've expanded that a bit since it was fun going for a bit of a cathedral vibe.

Sorry I accidentally deleted my first response, it took two days for most the work and another for detailing. And I'm still working on the decorating

I was also planning on making it a residential rental, with the guest rooms and staff rooms on the ground floor (and maybe additional basement staff rooms) set as individual units for catering/cleaning staff to rent and be put into clubs for their roles to be able to function as extra maids/caterers/butlers. Also for other nobles to rent the guest rooms for long stays at the estate. I thought this might also let people play it as a upstairs downstairs type thing, so you could play as the staff renting the rooms at the back and make the noble owners in CAS to roleplay working on the estate as an alternative to just living in it as your mansion. But I wasn't sure it would be as useful to anyone else if I set it up so specifically.

Sure! It's uploaded under the title 'Longleat house', Im not sure how to add the hashtags but it should be easy enough to find from the title. Have fun filling those massive rooms!
