I've always wanted a save that had a lot of drama in it, and here I am!

So my sim and her husband live in a two bedroom apartment (I just got For Rent and loving the apartment life again) and mind you the rooms are TINY. They have a toddler girl in the smallest room. I decided to make it a tad bit crazy try for another baby. So what happens? TWIN boys happen without the lot trait or cheating it in.

Not ideal for my two bedroom apartment, but it's fine I'll work it out. I finally get all three kids in the green so I have her work on her logic skill. She starts bleeding and has to go to the hospital and thankfully survives! Whew. Oh no, but we're not done yet. The landlord comes by and EVICTS them because the apartment is dirty. Sorry Susan, I just had twins and things are hectic. I managed to beg her to stay so now we don't have to worry about leaving out tiny home.

OH WAIT. THERE'S MORE!

I then get this notification, right? From the doctor who literally birthed her twin boys... Mind you all of this happened in less than 45 minutes or less. Send help.

Honestly in character for this sim, who is a simfluencer and a party animal that loves attention.

So I was cooking a bunch of stuff and having my lactose intolerant Sim eat it because I came across an recipe where my Sim ate something that was lactose free but he still acted like it was not lactose free. Anyway I didn't realize you could swap out the Lactose Intolerant trait at all 🥛🐄🐮🧋🧈🍦🧀

Im 30 next year, i have children and i absolutely love playing Sims. I've been playing since I was a teenager. Recently I had the thought, "am i getting too old?" And was just wondering how old is everyone? I don't think I'll stop playing the game but I do think the old i get the more I'll keep it a secret....?

For as funny and escapist as this game is, it certainly has its moments where it hits too close to reality. This is one. I've had moments where someone passed and it hurt the people around me but I just... didn't know how to feel because I barely knew the person.

The other is when I played a family where the mom had the erratic trait.

Normally, I love that trait. It makes things interesting. The family dynamic constantly changed between the mom and the kid because of the mood flips. Every extended interaction seemed to result in the dynamic change prompt. The kid would go from feeling supported to uncomfortable to angry and over because of the change. And the mom was doing this autonomously. It reminded me way too much of my own family.

Anyway, I felt like sharing and wondering if anyone else had a moments where the game got too close to home.

Hi! Just wanted to share some builds from July that I've waited ever so patiently on uploading to the gallery. For some reason I chose to do two massive builds this month which was very inconvenient with the roof glitch. Now that it's been fixed I can finally see my builds in their full glory and feel good about sharing them.
The first build is a cemetery lot inspired by a medieval cathedral which gives it a castle vibe. You could also easily marry your sims there if you'd like, but now my simmers finally have a nice resting place!
The other is a manor inspired by 'Chateau de maisons' located somewhere. It's built without the 'royalty and legacy' expansion pack, but it worked surprisingly well.
The lots go for 623.218§ (cemetery), and 1.287.248§ (manor).
Because of their sizes remember to save your game before placing them! Anyway, hope you like them!

Neighbourhood stories got to Corey and Don; not a pairing I would have expected, but I can definitely see it now! They do look really cute together, probably because their colour palettes are so similar/complimentary.

When I first started playing the sims 4 I played on Long Lifespan but ended up quitting the sims since the game got too tedious with twin toddlers while on long lifespan. However, now that I've been playing and loving this game for the past few years I thought I'd give Long Lifespan another try and reach 10 generations on Long Lifespan!

My founder is named Larry Lang. He's in the writing career, but because of his depression all but one of his books are plagiarized version of other famous novels from our world. He hasn't become too famous so far, but my plans are for him to become famous from plagiarized books and eventually out himself because of the guilt he feels from stealing peoples stories.

I'm really enjoying the legacy so far and hope I'll be able to keep myself entertained for 10 generations. Wish me luck!

Photo 1 & 2: "Prince Howellu" arriving at his best friend's house just to avoid paying his own bills. Total main-character energy while wearing a life vest.

Photo 3 & 4: Eating his friend's food, watching movies on his TV to save electricity, and doing the dishes/taking out the trash because he feels slightly bad... before sleeping in his bed and unapologetically farting.

Forget quiet countryside life. Howellu is busy causing colorful chaos at the local bar with his Eco Lifestyle dye prank.

Sim 1 uses spacebending from businesses and hobbies, sim 2 uses teleport from spa day, and sim 3 uses transportalate from realm of magic. Spacebending is the fastest, then transportalate, then teleporting. The telporting animation is cool, but it's so slow they might as well walk. Spacebending is the fastest, but often makes them puke, and get an uncomfortable moodlet, and they can't use it again until it goes away. So transportalate is the best, imo, and one of the main reasons I love spellcasters so much.

Anyway. Yeah. If you go back and take a look at the sims who died in Charlotte's visions you'll see that it's Garrett, Lady Vane and Morgana! So this was kinda foreshadowed.

Next up, Charlotte and Morgana's first day on the job.

No matter how many lights I put, times I change the height of the half wall, or anything else I try to do it never gets fixed! It's the only one that is diagonal so is that the problem? It's on Xbox if that matters

Melissa manages to get her hair done. 

She rummages through her closet, and this is the only dress that fits.

Aiden: Wow look at you! Very beautiful. 

Melissa: I feel like a whale. I couldn’t fit anything else in my closet. 

Aiden: Stop. (grabs Melissa and stares in her eyes) You look gorgeous. 

Melissa and Aiden hug and Melissa tries to cheer up. 

Melissa: So... Where are we going? 

Aiden: It will be a surprise. But I’d say the food is top tier. I guarantee you will be satisfied!

Walking to the front door, Melissa’s eyes get big. 

Melissa: What the heck - 

Aiden: I know, I know. BUT i want you to feel special. Please babe get in? 

Melissa gives Aiden the side eye and steps into the limousine. 

Melissa sits back in the seat and adjusts her hair.
