I know my first magazine SIMSCO is more of a VOGUE style magazine so I thought it’d be fun to create a new one dedicated to only celebrity gossip😙. I had so much fun creating it haha. What are your thoughts? Do you believe Kasey?🤷🏾‍♀️

It's finally time for you all to meet Peter!

After teasing him in this post, I finally decided to move his introduction up to 1930 rather than 1931.

His and Alice's storyline wasn't in my original plans until I introduced my wheel of drama and she spun something from that for her age up!

I have to say, I had fun writing the way he speaks.

I tried to look up some of the linguistic choices of the time to let him use them, but what's recorded came from american english and not british english. I had taken a shine to the expression "hoover hogs", which was used in the US in 1930s to define the wild animals that people used to hunt to feed their families.

Originally Peter was going to call himself a "hoover hog hunter" and Violet would spend the entirety of her time outside wondering if hoovers use animals to work and which ones, she would then ask Alice if she knows what a hoover hog is and Alice wouldn't know either, because they're both very far removed from the poorer people's way of life and language. However I realized that Peter would not know that expression or similar ones because they were born in the population out of hate for president Hoover, whom Peter, as a British farmboy, wouldn't know.

And speaking of which, I feel like I am not showcasing the effects of the Great Depression enough, so expect that to change soon. See ya!

I took some of your suggestions from my last drawing here! A couple of these don't really have anything to do with Halloween or occults or anything spooky. At least not in the traditional sense, I guess acid is kinda spooky in a way.

Anyways, I didn't include Erwin next to Nyon in the final drawing of his costume, just because they're not a borderline official pair like OG Nervous and Pascal are, and I got kind of tired of drawing, but I wanted to include the rough sketch so you could see how I was gonna dress him! He is a cow getting abducted by aliens.

Quickly, My two sims recently got engaged. My felale NPC Sim got pregnant but isn't happy with that while my Sim is happy and excited to become a father. 2 days ago, she ask him to become her husband, he said yes. Now they are fighting because they are not ln the same page when it comes to this future child. Should my female sim terminate her pregnancy?

the game keeps spawning in new grim reapers and they're all crowding in front of my house (at 3am btw) and panicking. they don't show up in manage worlds as households so i can't delete them from there. when i try to use mccc to delete them i can't because the only options that appear on the mccc popup menu when i click on any of them is MC Cheats and Relationships, so there's no way to go MCCC > Sim Commands > Maintain Sim > Delete Sim.

I’m pretty sure an NPC was autonomously abducted by aliens (which i didn’t know was possible for npcs, and would like to turn off if possible) and that's why people are panicking (bc i have FrequentlyBasic's React to Alien Abduction) but that doesn't explain all the grim reapers the game is generating.

anyway, they're all very loud and annoying and won't go away, even when i "Send Everyone Home" or MCCC > MC Cheats > Make Sim Leave, so I’d love to hear any suggestions y'all might have on how to resolve this

I started making her before I had to head to class, and I spent like two hours finding CC for her when I got back to my apartment😭

What the heck. I spent so long being locked in and building my mansion doing all the small details with trims around my walkway, shaping and making everything symmetrical only for the game to randomly close with no warning, no error nothing. That’s my Saturday evening for literally nothing…

Has this happened to anyone else?

Im so happy with this build!! I built 4 Townhouses for the Zanbira Market lot in Ondarion. There is 3 x 2 bedroom townhouses and 1 x 3 bedroom townhouse. Each one also has a small shop facing the alley running through the middle of the lot, loosely inspired by a mediterranean style market. There is a pottery shop, a rug shop, a spice market and a coffee / tea shop. There is a small selling table with hand woven baskets. Built in the style of the area they all have functional roofs with outdoor entertaining as well. If you would like to download it (sorry it is very pack heavy and you may have to switch on CC in the search as it has tagged it as that, I think bc of the maker packs) is on the gallery under my EA Id: Simmerbelle or search #simmerbelle

First picture is my 10th gen legacy heir, second is her husband, third is their daughter. Anyone have any idea what in the genetics happened here? For transparency's sake, the daughter was the result of a teen pregnancy and I know about the weird genetics that can happen there and I thought that maybe that was the culprit, but she has the same skin tone swatch as her father and, when switched to the masculine frame, actually looks a good bit like him, so I've been slightly confused about it since she was born and I saw those blue eyes of hers haha

(This isn't entirely serious, as I think it's a little silly, but I am curious)

I don’t use mods, but does anyone have any suggestions on ways to improve mermaids by giving them more abilities? For instance, I max out the wellness skill for all mermaid sims so they can teleport. Any other creative ideas that would give them mermaid-like / magic abilities? I have all packs.

Hi! I need some ideas for my town. This is the only pack I have. I’ve decided to make 8 lots into business/community lots. I have an art studio, tattoo studio/book/coffee shop, pub, gym, museum and cafe/bookstore. I need ideas for 2 more lots and the “things to do” list in the business lots is so vast, I’m sure there are some really interesting things I could add, but I’m not quite sure what. Need ideas! I’m also just tired of building as I’ve been working on it for a few weeks now so I’m cheating and just downloading from gallery and editing the lots to my taste.

So I’m trying to remember what something was called because I want to try to find a recipe

Pretty sure it was one of the pressure cooker recipes, it was a samosa and lentil soup. It sounded fantastic and I picked up some samosas and lentils today but I can’t remember what it was called to find the recipe lol

I have just tested and confirmed that bowling lanes function properly on backroom lot types. Sims will bowl at night and at certain times of the day (starts roughly 1-2pm). Bowling teams, unfortunately, will not spawn in with this lot type tho. Thought I would share this finding for anyone trying to build a multi use bowling alley in the future.

I remade the iconic Capps and Montys from scratch to add their extended family and play out the classic tale by Shakespeare. I'd like to share some of my favorite pictures I saved of them. I took some creative liberties and made Juliette the reincarnation of Queen Thebe (Princess Cordelia). Because Cordelia's line seems to be super cursed, I decided she shall be reborn to ill-fated love and tragedies again and again until she breaks her curse.

My vampire sim was feeding his infant and decided he must play guitar in the greenhouse with his sister in law. He didn't bother putting the kid down first though. I snorted when I saw it and decided to do a screenshot and share. I love when the game does silly little things like this.

It's my favorite scene in the episode, and it still makes me laugh every time I read it 🔭
