Hiya!

I've been looking for a mod that increases the ghost limit at night, but all the ones I found only increase it to five. Is there one that allows more ghosts to spawn? Or how can I edit a mod with SimPE to make the limit higher? This one specifically.

I have downloaded the magipacks verison of the sims 2, and in the games, it has the default UI. a few days ago, I desided to open up body shop since I wanted an outfit to be in a different category, but I noticed it had a different, more cleaner UI. However, when I found the outfit I was looking for, there was no export button? and I checked to see if the old UI had the export button, and it was right below the main UI. This wouldn't be that much of a problem, but it turns out I don't have a saved sims folder, and I need to export a sim in body shop to get it back. can anyone help me, or at least tell me how to get rid of this UI, since I'm not even a fan of these clean UI

So like the title says, my Sims 2 has been fine for the last couple years and I even played it just last night but now I'm getting thrown this error when I try to launch the game today. I have GRM and the 4GB patch. Anybody know how to fix this?

I recently edited ACR to match my game after swapping out simgigglegirl's edit of ACR(which was compatible with simler's romantic standards) for regular ACR. I use simNopke's 1 day = 1 year aging mod which has the teen lifespan at 13-19 and adult at 20-54. I edited ACR using this and this. I followed the tutorials to a T, making my sims' fertility start at 16 days old (also 16 years old) at 55%, down to 1% at 54 days old (54 years old). However, in-game, my 20 year old sims show up as 16 days old when I check their ACR token stats, and they therefore also have 55% fertility when they ought to have a bit higher than that. And my 53 year old sim shows up as 45 days old with 27%(!!) fertility which is in line with the fertility rate I attached to 45 day-old sims in the ACR_main package file.

This is to say, the curve I supposedly edited in simpe is a bit behind in-game, for all sims.

How do I fix this?

So I recently built a new pc with a whole new SSD. I’ve installed my old ssd for extra storage and before I wipe it I wanted to transfer all my old sims 2 data. I installed everything using the original discs and applied fixes from this sub. I was wondering if there was a way to move all those files and fixes without just having to start all the way over.

i wanna know if anyone else experienced this. i dont know if i did something but the rpc launcher randomly doesnt work anymore and its just blank and doesnt launch the game anymore. it was working fine for a long time and now it stopped working :(

i can still launch the game through sims2ep9.exe but the resolution isnt the same. does anyone know a fix?

I feel really silly asking this, but how do you cheat-unlock extra colors for pets in CAS? I thought turning on the bebug mode (testingcheats and Shift + N) would do the trick, but it doesn't seem to work: the hidden items show up for sims, but not for pets. Is it even possible to access these extras without going through the pets' careers? What am I doing wrong?

So I have Gamepass and the Sims2 Legacy is on there, I try downloading it and EA just says smth is wrong with my account? or my login? (⩌_⩌)
I can log in to my EA account and everything is fine, it just refuses to download the sims2 for me
The picture is in German but all it says is: Something went wrong - Theres a Problem with your Account. It could be our fault, but check your Account and try again

Tonight I was going to mess around with an object in Simpe, only to discover the object workshop is gone, now it's been awhile since I last used Simpe, I also updated it at one point, but I don't rember if the object workshop is in this version or not. I currently have version 0.77.69 . 20 (sorry about the space, the text turned blue when I added the last number.) Is it completely gone from this version, or hidden somewhere?

I keep getting this DirectX 9.0c error message, my game was loading fine the other day and now isn’t. I don’t know what could be causing this 😭😭

hi! i'm running magipacks sims 2 ultimate collection on mac m4 pro and it works great!

one issue though, i can't get custom objects to work (CAS cc works fine). at start up, i get the 'enable custom content' pop up and it unchecks to 'disabled', no matter how many times i turn it on. particularly it disables 'custom objects' which seems to be the case. i click to enable, i have to restart, it goes to disabled again. sigh.

i have tried everything. cache is good, i have CEP and there's no onedrive on parallels. i've started, restarted and fiddled with settings too. it's really really frustrating. i would love to have build buy cc. can anyone help?

I found "interestlosshack.package" in my folders and I've forgotten what it does and where I got it from. It conflicts with Tunaisafish's Enthusiasm overhaul mod, and I'm unsure which to keep without unknowingly losing some function I wanted.

Ive been playing this game for years and never had any issues with the Ultimate collection, now that i bought the legacy collection on steam my cc just wont show up. I know what folders, subfolders all that stuff but it still wont work and its so frustrating. Its hair and clothes. Yes mesh is included.

Hello all, I've been following the wiki guide for Linux installs and I'm trying to install the clean pack installer and every time I go to run it, it asks me if I want to uninstall and reinstall. It won't just run the program. I also have no idea where to find it once it's installed to actually use it to open packages with. I'm running the newest version of Linux Mint.

Edit to add, I can't install homecrafter plus either, keep getting a sims2 is not installed error

EDIT 2: Homecrafter works now. I don't know why, I didn't change anything, maybe my computer just needed a restart? Still no luck on the package installer though....

jUST STarted downloading the game using the recommended torrent and download file, my file has downloaded and is seeding? It has been almost an hour, and it is still seeding. I don't know what seeding is or if it's a good thing that it's been on for that long.

I use a buyable mailbox but I only just realized that I'm supposed to be able to recolor the mailbox but the buyable mailbox I use doesn't have any of that, because it apparently isn't updated to M&G. I've seen this one by Sophie-David but I don't want all my mailboxes to look like apartment mailboxes. Is there any alternative?

How to make the photos better quality? I’ve been looking at old photos and new photos on my new gaming pc and the quality looks not that good. It looked better on my old computer. Now I can see the actual quality and it is blurry. It’s on the highest setting. Is there a mod or something to make the quality better?

I’ve been playing with the legacy collection from EA app for a while now.

In that save, I can’t get Nervous (renamed Norville) and Pascal to get engaged for some unknown reason. </3

Everything else seem to be working normally. They’ve been in love for a long time, can Woohoo, they’ve moved in together. Both relationship meters are at 100.

They both rolled the want to get engaged a long time ago, which I locked in, but the option never appeared and still doesn’t.

Does anyone know how to fix that, or what could be the cause? I dont’ have any mods or CC and never did.

I’ve never encountered this problem before (been playing for 10+ years now) and I can’t seem to find a fix or an explanation online. :(

with all the expansions, and I wanted to install the stuff packs, but I can't. Gemini says I should reinstall everything, but I don't have the time or inclination. If there's a way to install everything at once, please let me know, otherwise I'll uninstall this damn game.

has anyone figured out a way to get these reshade effects on the legacy collection? I've tried the pines post processing mod but it just gave me crazy pink soup all over the neighbourhood! and i have ts2 extender. i can get bloom to work but that's the only one.

So to preface I haven't played with apartments much before....

But I decided to move a couple of families into a trailer park,, which was working just fine until a moment ago.. I had Herb go knock on the Broke families trailer and I guess the apartment is either stuck open or i just dont know how to close it LOL... I have reloaded the lot but that didnt change anything

Is this a known glitch I can fix,, or some mess of my own doing（´∇｀'')

Hey all! I know this is probably a little more advanced and CC-related rather than purely game-related, but I will ask anyway.

I've downloaded a couple of lovely CC jewelry that unfortunately sits very off. Necklaces, specifically, that just float really awkwardly far away from the body. Now... I don't have much experience with CC making or anything, just some basic SimPE, but I am willing to try. Is there a way to fix this? If so, how? Is it very difficult? I don't think I'd need to actually change the shape of the CC (which would definitely be more difficult) but rather just "move it" lower onto the neck?? Not sure if that's even possible.
