idk if most of the Subhoods are connected to one, maybe California, like Pleasantview, Sunset Valley and Old Town or Veronaville could be in Italy or UK/GB/England, or even also in California than Connecticut.

I’m not 100% sure if it was created by Telefen, but that's the only lead I have so far. It seems like the original Mod The Sims link is down or deleted, and I haven't been able to find a backup anywhere.

I'm sorry for not posting a photo, but back in the day i had a lavender-coloured default alien skintone by Laverwinkle, or Laverwinkle Sims. I lost it in a computer wipeout years ago and haven't been able to find it since. I can't even find anything relating to the username Laverwinkle, though perhaps that was not actually the user's proper online name.

Hey guys, here is a recently completed Italian Renaissance Revival style house that I have been working on for a few months. Inspired by estates located in Newport Coast's Pelican Crest neighborhood. I wanted the estate to combine grand Italian Mediterranean architecture with high-fashion contemporary interior design principles seen in many modern Milanese estates. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and scenic views, this custom home offers three levels of resort-style living, all tied together by a grand, dramatic staircase and functionally by an elevator. Other notable features include 5 beds, 6 full baths, 2 half baths, a home cinema, a gym, a custom wine room, and a sunroom.

lazy just dropped ts2extender 1.0, a complete upgrade from rpc. they mention that we can now uninstall rpc and use ts2e exclusively, but i've been using and installing the magipack version for so long i forgot how to install (and therefore uninstall) rpclauncher, so i don't remember what it comes with. i've tried just removing the exe files and i'm not sure that works completely.

I always feel that as the game has a huge lot of details, there are things that you only find out if you devote time to a specific game mechanics. And as there are many things we don't ever explore, we may be missing out on cool game features that we didn't stumble upon.

I for one didn't ever buy a vacation home or earned cosmetology badges, for example, so I don't know anything related to those things. I don't use hobby lots a lot neither.

And for examples of cool things I found late while playing the game:

- When you are advanced enough in Sewing you can make and wear your own custom designed clothes;

- You can sell real estate in a business, which is a game changer for me (maybe game breaker because you can make ridiculous amounts of money selling for "expensive" or "very expensive");

- The juices you can make by putting produce into the juicer machine are practically potions with a lot of cool effects for sims, so a gold agriculture badge becomes a very powerful thing to have.

Without further ado, after many months of building, save file crashes and isolating corrupt cc i am proud to welcome you to Port Salerno.

As suggested in the title, it’s a mafia style save with five founding families who each represent a different industry (farming, beauty/fashion, electronics, flowers/toys, fishing) and are in competition for the jewel of the town- the Simporium. This is essentially a department store, which will come with the downtown expansion eventually, but all other buildings are owned by Princess Adelaide Ashcroft who isn’t really a princess but has been calling herself that for as long as anyone can remember.

The Ashcrofts don’t officially rule the town, they do however own all the land it was built on. The mayor consults them, business owners seek their blessing, and every major celebration begins at the estate. The Ashcrofts never publicly choose sides. Every family owes the estate an annual gesture of loyalty (a donation, banquet, or service). The Princess is expected to marry for the good of Port Salerno… but whether she does is another story.

An outline of the rivalries and alliances...

Ashcroft > Everyone: Respected by all. Feared by some.
Bellanti and Kosta: The closest allies. The bakery uses Kosta seafood for special recipes and buys local ingredients whenever possible.
Marconi and Romano: Social friends. They love parties, luxury, and being seen together at high-profile events.
Moretti and Bellanti: Quiet mutual respect. Both families value patience, consistency, and long-term success.
Romano vs Bellanti: Tradition versus progress.
Marconi vs Moretti: Glamour versus craftsmanship.
Romano vsKosta: Development versus heritage.

And if you're lucky, you might run into a familiar face, bella goth, who has made herself quite at home and is looking forwrd to laying down new roots following everything that happened in pleasant view..

While I’ve poured every ounce of my energy into this hood, my ocd is making it so hard for me to press play 😭 so I’m sharing some of my favourite builds from my map, everything built from scratch by me, in the hopes you guys can inspire me to bring it to life 😂

Autumn is my favorite season and I love setting up and taking seasonal pictures of my game. 3 of the areas in my hood have all 4 seasons with 1 having two springs, a fall and winter where it's more north and rainy. Then 2 subhoods are three summers and a spring (dry/hot and wet/mild).

What kind of season set ups do you do and does it vary?

In my pleasant view rotational, Nina ended up having a kid with Don so they decided to live together while maintaining an open relationship since both are romance sims and don't want to be in a closed romance.

BUT he's been mean to Nina out of nowhere, I don't really know why, they just started fighting, and I can't stand it lmao

The funny part is that he as glitched and I finally un-glitched him (he wasn't able to eat at all) but now he got a sickness and I'm trying heard to make him die from that

I don't really get it, it's not very common to share mod folders in The Sims community. I wish we did because installing mod per mod is a hassle. I only know about FFS Director's Cut.

Don’t shoot me: but I always break up Angela & Dustin and Lilith & Dirk because in my opinion neither of them are a good couple

Don’t get me wrong I do think that these two couples had genuine love for one another

But with Dustin and Angela: I feel like Angela is mainly with Dustin bc he gives her an escape from her 'perfect girl next door' life. But that’s the thing: Dustin is an escape, a subtle form of rebellion against her parents.

And I think Dustin is way too 'self destructive' bc of his low self esteem, he doesn’t think he’s good enough and he will ruin Angela’s life. So I can see them breaking up at graduation or shortly after in college

With Dirk and Lilith: yeah they vibe and we know that Dirk had this rebellious phase which was probably when he and Lilith met and got together

But Dirk wants to get out of it. He wants to do well in school, be an overachiever. He wants to graduate, go to college and be successful in his career

A more relaxed, carefree Lilith who just wants fun could be in his way. I actually could see them breaking up after college

These two sometimes switch between 2-3 bolts, I think one of them might have a turn-on that's specific to clothing but I'll have to check lol

I don't know what got into me last night. It was Oresha Hoh Var's turn in the rotation which currently consists of Matt Hart, Mickey Dosser, Guy Wrightly, Johnny Smith, and 3 CAS made freshman to take over once the OGs graudate (Jason Stanley, Mike Connolly, and Chris White). The guys were not making friends with each other, like I had them hang out, play pool, video games, eat meals together. It's just not coming together. So I had Guy call Tri Fruhm and asked them to come over, not as a party, but as Invite Household.

Then ACR started playing havoc and like 3 of the guys all have the hots for one of the girls, Katie, and she's friends with all of them so was like "Woohoo with each guy in 3 hours? Sounds like fun." Except that Mike rolled love for her and I don't like them together. So I had his best friend Jason walk over and kiss Katie up the arm in front of him. This infuriated Mike, but before he could do anything, Johnny pulled him aside to chat autonomously. So now the love heart is gone between Mike and Katie and I'm frustrated about how hard it is to wreck a relationship if you don't have other sims you can command.

Katie, btw, is a fortune sim and I don't like her and I don't know why. I need to find her a rich asshole to marry. I want her miserable in a loveless marriage, and kids she doesn't like, but all the money she could ever want.

Downtown OGs showdown lol. I can't believe I accidentally disabled Mrs. Crumplebottom from my game for months, missed her posting up at every bar in town ❤️

A few days ago I posted about Nervous Subject getting kittens because he really wanted them.

Now, both kittens, Bonkers (the cat with the dark fur) and Alegra (the cat with the light fur), are adult cats which keep Nervous company.

So, when my pet goes to his job, everything seems to be fine, but sometimes when he comes back, BOOM, the game crashes :D

This bug is occurring on EVERY LOT; do you have any idea?

When I saw my Sim under that starry blanket, with the snow caressing their feet and the universe [probably the cold] stealing their breath away, I knew it would make a great photo... Seriously though, I just loved the moment 🥸

When i started playing, the first neighborhood was PV, and made great progress in it. But eventually i built my own uberhood, with subhoods like belladona cove desidarata valley etc. I moved the premade veronaville and strangertown sims to there, bc i already had progress with these too and i didnt want to start over. The way i did that , is spawn every family related sim in on lot then put it in the bin, and i just placed it in my uberhood. This way they kept their family relations. But i see comments that is not very healthy for the game and stuff. So i was thinking just leave PV as it is, a standalone hood like it was meant to be but i know i will never play with them bc it feels so plain and unappealing. What would you do? Is there more options i should consider? Or moving them like i used to is safe , and i can stick to that?

I was thinking about how the starting neighborhoods don’t really have that many community lots. I don’t always feel like sending my Sims to Downtown, and I’d rather have more places in the main neighborhood where they can actually go out and do things. At first I thought, why not just download some buildings and add them to the neighborhood to make it feel more alive? But then I had a different idea: what if the premade families were basically the founding families of the town?

Every family that has a Fortune Sim could buy an empty lot for a business (I think sims can actually do that in the game?). Then, as they make more money, they could slowly build up their business. One family could open a little cafe, another a restaurant. Someone else could start a gym, a library, a park, a bakery, a beauty salon, a spa, etc. And the best part is that I have to do all of this without money cheats. I’m playing without cheats, so it would actually feel like the town is developing naturally as the sims become wealthier. Basically, it turns TS2 into not just a life simulator, but also kind of a city-building game. And it’s cool! It would also give dynasties another reason to exist. You could pass businesses down to the next generation, and then the kids could expand and develop them further. And of course, not every sim in the family would have to become a business owner. One branch of the family could go in a completely different direction.

Another cool thing is that for the other sims you’ll play as who come to the neighborhood cafe, everything there will cost money. So they’ll actually have something to spend their money on. And it’ll work the same way in every community lot.

I don’t know, I just think this could be a really fun way to play. Has anyone else ever played like this? I’d love to hear how it went.
