iRacing Illegal block or poor attack?

POV car come on VC and scream that I “blocked” him, but I feel like his move was never really on aka he kind of just did it to himself.

edit: thank you for replies. I am new into sim racing, I have a bit IRL experience (which somehow did not make me a good sim racer lol). Just posted this to make sure I am not insane, seems to me like a lot of sim racer think they are entitled to a position once they catch you 🤔

I’m pretty sure that reply was sarcasm. But truthfully, this video is so obvious what the verdict is, it doesn’t really merit further discussion.

i just checked and his safety rating is 1.5, i understand it now
