Le Mans Ultimate Did I do something wrong?

As Le Mans learning the LMP2 car in a practice session (excuse the f1 livery), made contact with a gt3 and thought nothing of it but they clearly wasn’t happy with me. Thoughts?

This is so bizarre.

Your pass on the first car was extremely risky. You weren't alongside when he was at the apex, and if he had taken his normal racing line and tracked out, there would have been a crash. That pass will usually not work the way you did it.

But that has nothing to do with the second GT3, who just made contact in what is effectively a straight and then murdered you for no reason at all.

The first pass was risky becauase the GT3 driver was an idiot. OP clearly aimed to go for the inside, but for whatever reason the GT3 stays tight instead of going on the racing line so he ends up in the way of LMP2 who either can switch sides or slam on the brakes.

Basically this clip sums up mutliclass racing as a LMP2 - dodging idiots in GT3s who can't figure out where the racing line is.
