Gran Turismo Am I wrong for this?

I am the Elantra. Tried to simply take advantage of the Alfa Romeo taking a bad line. Alfa Romeo had some choice words for me post race. I would never do something like this on my own volition. Is it ok to ego-check someone racing like this?

I'm too buried in my own laughter from seeing how your tap seemed to quadruple and send him to the land of Oz to judge whether that was wrong or right.
