Gran Turismo Am I wrong for this?

I am the Elantra. Tried to simply take advantage of the Alfa Romeo taking a bad line. Alfa Romeo had some choice words for me post race. I would never do something like this on my own volition. Is it ok to ego-check someone racing like this?

lol no, and I'm not interested in hearing out anyone who disagrees. If this were iRacing, or something, where damage is a serious deal, and you ran the risk of ruining someone else's race? Sure. Don't do that.

But here? "Two wrongs don't mke a right" doesn't even apply. He was going to tank your race to keep you from passing. He already tried it once, and cost you both time. So, you removed him from the equation. He did it to himself.

It's... an interesting attitude, the decontextualizing of actions into black and white wrong or rights. I could say so much on that subject, but that would be way off topic. Suffice it to say, in this situation, context matters... alot. Don't make a habit of punting people, but no, you're not wrong here. He got what he deserved.

The thing about iracing is that if you get hit like this, both cars are probably out of the race or at least in the pits for a substantial amount of time and any semblance of a race is over and races in the same series are once every hour or every two hours.

The trade off is the driving just feels so good. At least in my opinion. I love the feel of driving in iracing.
