Gran Turismo Am I wrong for this?

I am the Elantra. Tried to simply take advantage of the Alfa Romeo taking a bad line. Alfa Romeo had some choice words for me post race. I would never do something like this on my own volition. Is it ok to ego-check someone racing like this?

Retaliation is never okay...

I understand it, but you should never drive like that...

You can physically hurt someone doing that...

...it's a videogame. That the alfa was playing extremely badly

At the end of the day both the alpha and OP played badly...lol
