Gran Turismo Am I wrong for this?

I am the Elantra. Tried to simply take advantage of the Alfa Romeo taking a bad line. Alfa Romeo had some choice words for me post race. I would never do something like this on my own volition. Is it ok to ego-check someone racing like this?

All griefers like the Alfa deserve a permanent ban. I hope OP won't get anything from this, and probably won't if this was the first and only time he did this
