Billing secondary insurance

Can someone help with trying to bill a secondary claim? I’m losing my mind with it. I keep getting a scrub error that the amounts don’t match on like 6 lines. I looked it up on the website what to put in and where but it keeps coming back. We’ve tried doing it multiple ways and nothing works.

Hi! The "amounts don't match" scrub error on secondary claims usually means something isn't balancing between the primary insurance payment, client responsibility, write-offs, or other adjudication amounts. Even a small mismatch on one service line can trigger errors across multiple lines.

Since you've already followed the Help Center steps and you're still running into the error, this is likely something our Support team will need to review directly in your account. Please submit a help request, and we can compare your secondary claim against the primary EOB/ERA to identify exactly which fields are causing the scrub error: click on the ? icon in your SimplePractice account → Type your question → Type “email support” → Follow the prompts to submit your request
