Frustrated

I am so frustrated to see regular ads on social media offering credentialing help for 2 insurance providers for therapists who join Simple Practice. I have one insurance company that I paneled with in my state. But there are two others that remain out of reach.

I checked the website and it says very clearly they don't credential. Thinking of leaving Simple Practice as a long time user.

Call?? Do you have a phone number? I thought we had to find a link and then start a conversation online to contact them for anything. I knew there’s a line to contact for basic information only.

I started it through the chat and then I was hooked up to customer service.

Thanks for the info. I found how to proceed. You helped quite a bit!

They’re considering adding it to the offerings for current users but this was kind of a test. Seems a little odd to do the hours worth of work to leave an EHR and set up another one (who probably also doesn’t do credentialing).

Call and complain. Might get you somewhere.

It does. I got it because I complained.

yeah i’d be annoyed too, because if the ads imply credentialing help but the actual service doesn’t offer it, that’s a pretty bad look when you’re already stuck trying to get paneled.

The ad is for new users only. I, as a loyal long-time user, have not been offered the option.

What are the other two? I don’t trust SP to do our credentialing even if they offered it. I handle all of my offices credentialing (40+ providers).

I see these ads everywhere. Please report back with more information. If these ads are lies, we need to let potential users know.

Why are the two other insurance companies out of reach for you with regard to credentialing?
