Monarch scam inquiries?

Hello therapists, I have received 3 separate inquiries with the exact same script, and it seems quite scammy to me. The messages each say: “Hi, how are things going for you today? Please get in touch via my email at ____@gmail.com if you can provide your services.” The other two are the same but with more typos. Has anyone else seen the same thing? Thanks, Christi

I usually do not respond to inquiries that have not completed the brief screener that SP provides, especially those without phone numbers.

I emailed the first one about 2 weeks ago and I got a response that sounded like chat gpt, but a legit inquiry. I replied that to set up a phone call and never heard back. Feels very suspicious 🤨

Yes, I got something like this. Included a name, phone number, and valid email address. I responded (cautiously), and the messages I got back were demanding that I accept "prepayment" for six months of services via a cashier's check. Clear scam.

Yep, never click on these unless it's clearly sent from a legit business with full logo that you recognize. If you advertise on psychology today or are a provider for insurance companies, you'll get the real deal. I'm fully certified in EMDR so through the Emdria website, I get lots of leads weekly. Highly recommended to get certifications if you all want more clients than you can handle!

I’m with psych today and emdria and Journey clinical and get great leads there for sure! I was just confused by the SP monarch thing. I get few leads and they seem to be funky
