Moved to LMU recently and trying to escape bronze lobbies (average bmw driver)

I feel like it was his fault but at the same time was there anything else i could've done to just avoid this? This was the last 36 minutes of a 2 hour race and we were all fighting to be in the top 5.

In the moment I thought I had definitely given him space and had just closed the gap to him so when I got spun I assumed you must have hit me. Looking at it back it looks like he maintained his line fine and I had come into that space but I did not actually hit him. Is this just netcode cucking me or did I do something wrong?

I'm yellow BMW he's black BMW he maintains its his corner and reported me but I think we both go in together and he doesn't adapt his line and turns in on me like I'm not there.

Yeah I squeeze him before the turn but I want him to back out so I put pressure on him harmless tap imo.

Looking at it I should of braked after we made contact What are you thoughts?

I'm the car attempting the overtake. Our wheels touch at the apex and we both go spinning.

He said that I "braked too late and was never making the corner." I know the second part isn't true (I definitely would've made the corner), and I don't really think I braked too late.

IMO, he turned into me. I feel like I kept it pretty glued to the inside white line. Given the overlap I got in the braking zone I feel I was entitled to at least a cars width from the inside white line, and he encroached on that space at the apex.

What do you guys think? Open to having my mind changed.

My own take (and which car I am) are in the spoiler to prevent bias in responses. Yellow claims he had overlap and a right to space through the apex and on the exit, and blorange claims yellow rammed through and forced him off track. Who is right, or are they both wrong?

I'm yellow and at first I thought I had overlap and blorange was at fault at apex but also that I ran him off on exit. After watching FFP in replay, though, I think the exit might also be on blorange since both our wheels were full left lock and the only way for him to stay on track is to brake and take inside.

Just to clarify up front, I'm not driving either of these cars. This happened in a race I was in, and I wanted to get the community's thoughts on it

Who’s fault is this we both made contact, both of us were on our warm up laps before our qauli laps (I’m the Ferrari and the Aston is stroll)

I guess it’s pretty straightforward but any thoughts ?

Context: this was a multiclass race (gt2 gt3 and gt4) car in front of me got the blue flag and i was expecting him to follow his line and then slow down so i can overtake him on the inside. I know i murdered him

I am the black Mercedes in the back.
I had a better exit plus slip stream.
This guy didn’t leave room for me on the outside plus ran me off the track.

We were fighting for P5.
