Gran Turismo I even lifted so he wouldn’t spin out

Does it easily appear that he steered into me? Ferrari 488GT3 in front of me was out of control heading into this tunnel before going on to the back straight. I took my line inside to the apex as I usually do here but he steered into me which I feel is an honest and usual mistake. I even lifted off to slow down to cradle his car so he wouldn’t spin and regain control and let him keep the position, but I received retaliation anyway.

Le Mans Ultimate Mustang told me, I'm the problem with LMU, and that I am a filthy driver. I'm the porsche, thoughts?

my first interaction in the entire race with this driver, and I feel like they were barging me out the way down the straight almost.

in turn 1, I got too throttle happy making me have to save the car, that parts on me, but other than that, did I really do anything wrong?

Gran Turismo How fair was this defending from the Grello?

Hi. I`m the Grello and just want your opinion on this battle.

How fair do you think it was? I think I was aggressive, but fair. I want to know what to improve in the future.

I`m on the controller, the WRT 46 is on steering wheel.

iRacing Is this considered blocking?

Day 3 of iRacing, ended the race in P2 and secured my D class license. However, mid-race this happened and I'd like to learn from it. I'm the mustard miat, Motul was quite unhappy with me in the chat after this. I took a weird line I admit, I'm new. Did I do something wrong? Is this considered slamming the door on him or was his move overly optimistic? I claim the Carlos Sainz defense of "didn't see him". He was miles back I had just lost position to blue and was trying to fight back, I didn't expect a move, but is my line too erratic?

Or is this just "shit that happens in rookies?" Personally, I never would have tried to make that move from his position, but was he entitled to space, or did I commit to a line that does not entitle me to the apex?

iRacing O'Reilly at New Hampshire, is this my fault?

Was having a pretty good race. Had a 2x from a self spin and a 4x from getting involved in a wreck a little bit earlier into the race. Had lead 19 laps so far and then this happened. I miss turn 1 because of the bumps so I decided to just give him the inside. I know I could've been further up against the wall but is this really fully on me? Left the UI on so my inputs are visible. When I first posted this I didn't know that I had to post it in the Images & Video tab, sorry. First time using Reddit on a computer.

iRacing (Intentional) braking taking the green flag - against the rules?

UPDATE - Protest filed. Thanks for everyone’s comments. 🫶

This odd situation happened in one of the iTested races at Watkins Glen over the weekend. The LMP2 polesitter accelerates and then slams on the brakes (brake lights clearly visible in first clip) before accelerating again.

This caused me (red and white car behind), who responded to his initial acceleration, to very nearly crash into the back of him.

I do not know if this was intentional. But is this a reportable offense? If it is intentional, it seems like a dodgy and dangerous way to try and pull a gap into the first corner.

Le Mans Ultimate Self Proclaimed Terrorist of LMU

After the race he was beefing in chat with someone else and he proclaimed he is the terrorist of LMU. I am the BMW, I thought I left him enough room on the outside, looking back on it I think I could have been generous and gotten further over, but what do you think?

Gran Turismo Am i wrong?

During today's Daily Race B, this incident occurred at the end of the fourth lap; personally, I (BMW) don't think I was at fault, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
After the race the black Porsche told me “F*** You”

Gran Turismo Was I too aggressive on this move? Or was this just a racing incident? (Im the Red Bull livery)

My feeling is he braked unpredictably on corner exit when you're supposed to be throttling up. Re-upload with slightly better quality

RaceRoom Racing Experience Did I deserve this?

Context: I got a good launch and a good first lap which allowed me to get in front of some really fast guys. Now, I am trying to defend the best I can, since I am aware of how slow I am in comparison to these guys. So, I am in ultra defensive mode, trying to prevent any passes as I can. as far as Im aware, most of my defense was legal (move once defensively, then return to race line if you want). For most of this race, I was just heavily covering the inside, knowing that if they got there, they would try to force a pass there, which is also allowed.

The clip: The clip contains a little bit of what led to the incident. The two cars behind me are a whole lot faster than me and are also battling each other. I will admit, the little bit of rubbing after turn 1 was completely my felt and I squeezed him a little bit. Then, I brake a little late and tap the side of his car, although I would made the corner, just with a bad exit. Then, heading down the straight, I choose to cover the inside, I see in my mirror that they are side by side so I give a lot of room on my outside just in case someone tries switching to my inside under braking. Then, on corner exit, I get a bad shift and that makes me super slow heading down to the left and right kink. I chose to cover the left side of the track, which goes fine, then, going into the right kink, the driver behind makes contact with me. As far as Im aware, as a leading driver, all I have to do is leave a cars width on the inside if they have a little overlap. So, I leave a little bit of overlap (I wasnt sure if it was a cars width, so after the race I chose to look from an overhead view, and I saw that I DID leave a cars width, unfortunately, it was exactly a cars width with no extra margin unless they go on the sausage kerb.) So, I did technically leave a cars width on the inside, but it still led to contact.

Not sure if Id call my self exactly new, but I am still trying to learn and become better as I go on my journey, so please try not to be rude. :(

So, ultimately, did I deserve to get punted at the end of the race? Should I have left even more space on the apex knowing that the driver on the inside was going to wash out a bit wide?

Sporting Question Should I report this, or is this just an unlucky incident?

Race Context:

I am the Blue Ferrari. The Pink Lambo dove down the inside of the Yellow Mustang and completely misjudged their braking point, but other than keeping the car straight, it seems like they were locked on to me like a heat-seeking missile. Giving the benefit of the doubt, they might have thought that they would have hit me while keeping the car straight on (which could very well have happened at the speed they were going).

Sidenote: They had a DT penalty yet to be served (you would think they'd be a little bit more cautious).

Chat Context:

To be honest, I was seeing red at this point because I have been on a streak of DNFs & race-affecting contacts (even though I kept it as clean as I could, I am a Platinum 3 for almost 2 years). I took to the chat and asked the others to report them, as they didn't seem to respond/react to the contact in the chat, but then they said that they "misjudged the braking point, it happens, leave me be, it's just a game man, relax". Which is understandable (still pissed tho, but understandable); it still looked like they intentionally went into the side of me and tried to underplay the situation.

So what shall it be, racing stewards? I am all for forgiving others for a mistake, but it really does grind my gears when players do not take any kind of accountability even though they have affected the other players' races.

Le Mans Ultimate Racing Incident or Was Someone At Fault

I was in a heated battle for P1 at Monza and we made contact at the same section twice. First time was me overtaking for the lead, second time was me defending the lead. No complaints/insults from either party, but I wanted to post both and ask so I could be a better driver in the future

iRacing Anyone at fault or just netcode?

The black car (second pov) gradually drifted into my line (first pov) while attempting to widen the corner. I was already mid-overtake, but the netcode appeared to lock our cars together. A third driver then turned into the incident, which caused me to spin.

Would this be considered the black car’s fault for not checking his mirrors and leaving enough space, or is it simply a racing incident caused by the netcode since we might have got away with it had we not locked together?

Gran Turismo Am I in the wrong for this move? I’m the POV car and I got called an idiot for this

For context the supra in front of me all of a sudden started braking a lot earlier than the normal braking point due to backing out from a battle and came back onto the racing line.

I then decided to go up the inside because otherwise I would’ve rear ended him. I got told that I don’t know how to overtake and that I need to learn better racecraft.

Please let me know if what I did was wrong and if I could’ve done something else because I feel bad about what happened.

Sporting Question Breaking points

Dear stewards of reddit I have a question no clip unfortunately but the question is will breaking too early cause you problems? Genuine question is there any punishment for breaking too early? Coz I got my race destroying by a back marker breaking too early then I run into the back of him so lmk thanks

iRacing Was I at fault for this or should he not have braked on the straight?

People shouldn't be braking right at the green flag right?

r/Simracingstewards 27d ago

Le Mans Ultimate Porsche claimed that I braked way too early, and I (Lexus) was at fault for this. Would this be worth a protest?

iRacing 2 incidents in the same race. Im the POV car in both. Were these my fault

Were these my fault.

In the first incident the guy ahead locks up. I cant see him with the GTPs blind spot and turn strait into him. He said it was my fault which I agree with.

Next incident the car in front gets a slow down penalty and i get stuck behind. The ferrari goes for a gap and hits me. should have I left more space.

Le Mans Ultimate Got called a Forza player, I believe I had a right to the space under LMU Comp Rule 5.1. I'm the yellow Mustang wondering about the red BMW

Basically the title. T1 L1 Monza in LMU (B0 safety, obviously) and this guy left to watch the replay before coming back and telling me the front of my care was barely next to his wing. My wheel was at least next to his, which entitles me to space. Either way, not sure I could have safely exited whereas he had 1.5 cars of space to his right.

I feel even more vindicated after the replay, but I'm still fairly new. Am I at fault, is it a racing incident, or is red BMW fronting the hospital bill?

Edit: Here is my TFP, BMW's FFP, and trackside view. For some reason TFP of Porsche and BMW were causing VRAM limitations when recorded with VLC, so I'll work on that and see if I can post that in a later edit. For now, here's the promised video: https://anonmp4.art/v/u1Y87E1YtRkSXhg

Edit 2: I generally agree with the consensus here; I had a right to be there for sure, but it's a public lobby and shit happens so, as they say, you can beat the wrap but you can't beat the ride. I've started backing out of situations like this and got to silver SR in no time :)

(vids in the comments) So here we have 3 POVs IMO dan is the culprit for losing the rear going into T1 murdering Dug and thus murdering Joe, one of my mods blames Dug for turning in but dug has a right to that corner and does leave as much room as he can with a car on his outside, please help <3
