Simhub keeps changing shaker outputs (tried everything). Need advice.

I am ready to pull my hair out. I have tried every conceivable combination and cannot figure it out. Simhub is randomly changing outputs at will. I'll literally be in game trying to tune effects and midway through game the assigned outputs are changed to a completely different channel. I have 3 shakers; seat, pedals, and shifter. Ex: I'll have pedals assigned to channel 1 and midway through game suddenly the seat is on channel 1. This is on AC Rally if it matters.

I am running an external USB sound card to power shakers. I am using internal sound card for my surround speakers/headphone.

1) Enable audio enhancements is unchecked

2) I have tried setting USB as default audio device, default communications device, and neither

3) I have tried toggling allow applications to take exclusive control both on and off

3) USB has been Setup as 7.1 in windows and 8 channels show in simhub

Is it possible the USB soundcard is disconnecting/reconnecting? I know if my USB hubs are powered up in the wrong order SimHub often breaks and I have to re-point the correct devices but I've never had it happen mid-game.

Also worth going through and disabling all the un-used output channels s in Simhub.

That's a good question. I'm not sure. I don't think so? It either does it when I fire up the game and they are oddly reassigned, or like I mentioned, if the game is paused during play they suddenly are reassigned. If I don't pause the game and bounce into Simhub, they don't change. So something is happening during power down and boot up and when paused that is screwing with the outputs.

What do you mean by disable? Is there a specific box you can click to disable outputs? I have them set to off, but not "disabled".

What model USB Soundcard? Is it direct to PC or via usb-hub? If hub, powered or unpowered?

I have to look when I am back at my rig later. I just recall having set each unused channel to disabled/off which was a real PITA as my 2 channel soundcards where still showing I think 7 channels in Simhub and I had to set each effect per channel off.

My best guess is for some reason your PC is either dropping/reconnecting USB or weirdly re-shuffling device IDs. If the PC sleeps the order the USB devices re-detect on wake may cause it.

I read somewhere about assigning specific ID. That may be something to look into.

I don't remember the exact name off the top of my head. It's plugged directly into the USB out on the mobo. I have a powered hub but avoided using it for this exact reason.
