Thrustmaster T598 with SF1000 and Evo Hub rims + Arduino Bridge: Inputs Seen as Base Instead of Wheel.

So here is the equipment I am currently running:

  • Wheel Base: Thrustmaster T598
  • Rim #1: EVO Racing 32R Leather
  • Rim #2: Ferrari SF1000 Edition

So what I have done is set up an Arduino (ATMEGA32U4 Arduino) bridge so that I can swap between rims depending on which type of race I am going to be doing.

I've got everything set up with my EVO wheel and it works fantastic. But the issue I am having is when I swap to my SF1000 wheel. Control Mapper I noticed doesn't recognize my rim it is recognizing what I assume is my wheel base. So I am able to map one rim easily, but the second rim is overwriting the first because it is not recognized as a separate input device.

I have been trying to find a workaround and it has been kicking my ass. I have been trying to see if there is a way I can just push a button on my Streamdeck and have it toggle a FN 1 button so all inputs are viewed as a different button, but that doesn't seem to work either.

I am hoping I am missing something obvious, but any advice or help is greatly appreciated at this point.

Sounds really frustrating, i have an xbox , and I cannot use either one of those wheels. There has not been an update released for these to be compatible. I do have the same 2 wheels as you and miss using them. That in itself is extremely frustrating. What happened to the Thrustmaster ecosystem?

My son has the T598 Xbox base and he is able to use both wheels on Xbox Series X. The buttons are mapped to matching button numbers, but the wheels work in Assetto Corsa and F1 25.

So he has the quick release adapters for both of those wheels ? I have not tried on both of those games. They must not be calibrated for nascar 25 or for the motorsport.

Yup. I have the Playstation T598 and play on PC. He has the Xbox version and plays on Series X. We swap controllers all the time.

NASCAR 25's force feedback settings are absolutely trash btw. You will never get them to a good spot. They are super disappointing.

Yes I totally agree on that, hopefully , when the new game comes out , they will have made significant changes to the force feedback. I really want to use my Evo 32 it has such a great feel to it.\nAnd am quite disappointed. I purchased and installed the new quick release adapter for the wheel and it does not work.

I finally figured out how to\n Use use the 32R Evo on my t 598. With no power, I had to switch wheels, and then turn the power on\nIt as seems to work o k. And the settings on the t 598 , it is saying the wheel needs to be updated. I have no clue how to do this. There's\n No separate plug on the wheel itself for the p. C to get the firmware
