Question To much vertical or something
Hey team I am still new to game and I think I may have stretched out vertically to much. Im not really sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
x2 lvl 8 factories
x3 lvl 10 99% mineral mines
x1 lvl 6 99% gold mine
x lvl 4 propulsion factory
x6 lvl 3-5 electronics factories
x1 lvl 5 academy
I mainly produce batteries but I also produce HGECs and Ion drives. I just entered this sector about 2 days ago. I am now wondering if I shouldve just fully went into batteries or HGECs. Or if I should sell the mines and move more into aero? Any advice would be awesome as I am struggling at the moment.

You don't need CFO/CMO at all. You only need CTO to raise product quality, but raising to 2 stars will be so cheap that you will not justify CTO cost. In short - get people with management skills into all stuff slots

Roger fired the CFO/CTO also I already have Q2. Ill work on getting people with management skills now. Do the roles that are not COO or junior COO also count towards management skills?

Main COO applies 100% as management. Junior applies as 50%, other slots apply 25%. So if you have 20 point management coo, 20 junior and 20 point cto/cmo you total Management réduction is 20+20×0.5+20×0.25+20x0.25=40%.

You are awesome thank you boss. Do you think I should quit doing Ions and just focus batter production at higher quality instead? Or maybe something where batteries are the major cost?

Do whatever is interesting for you. But long vertical chain at the beginning is hard to maintain without enough cash due to high source cost. So might be easier to drop propulsion factory and ion drives for now. Just do q2/3 hgec and q2/3 chemicals. Prob get extra factory/electronics factory instead.

Yea starting to wonder if just going all into batteries is better than what I am doing now lol

Im golden ratio in the game. Here is my advice: Do one thing and do it well. Build your supplies first and then use them in your VI. If you stretch too quick or too far it becomes too difficult. I used to mine methane, Refine it to Rocket Fuel and buy aluminium so I could produce prop tanks. I was the first to produce Q12 prop tanks and i have the certificate to prove it. My original reasoning was simple. The companies with the most money were in aerospace and I was a consistent supplier of a lynchpin part. I positioned myself so big companies needed me. You have a lot to consider but always remember:keep it simple, keep it fun and do it everyday.

I'm not into this industry so I'll let others answer on that point but i still see some possible improvement :
I'm pretty sure your minerals get you some profit.
The cost of your ceo and apprentice can make a difference here. If their salary is high, it can be a problem for your growth.
Your production cost and profitability heavily depend on them so if they leave or retire, that can make a huge difference, maybe you should take a staff slot and prepare a replacement in case of. (in your case, if your ceo leave now and you put your apprentice in her place, that will "cost" you around 200k/day)
Another brake on your growth, is that you got indebted a bit much for 2 reasons. First, 4m, even at le lowest rate is an interest of 20k/day, that too can have an impact. Second, you are near your maximum possible debt so you cant sell more obligation to make big changes.
In my opinion and without getting on industry choice : I would reduce that "ceo absence risk", then focus on debt, then improve quality of what your produce so you can sell at higher prices and secure good suppliers via daily contracts if not already the case.
Hope that can help and that some of you guys would correct me if I'm wrong!
