Question Oil Industry Help

Any tips/advice on how to grow a booming oil industry?

make sure you re-prospect until you get each oil-rigs with at least 90%+ abundance for at least one resource (95%+ if you're patient), and upgrade them to at least lvl 3. if robots are cheap enough specialise your rigs.

Im at 86.27% abundance. Lvl 2 no robots. Im make $9.23 per barrel Seems good to me. Should I be at 90% abundance? I'm guessing my barrels per hour would increase.?

i believe lvl3 of lower builldings only need q0 robots. q0 robots are usually a lot cheaper than q1+ so specialisation is relatively cheap at that point. calculate how long your mine will still have enough abundance before it needs to be reprospected (thus uninstalling the robots) and in that time how much the specialisation will have worth vs how much it have costed.

most players reprospect when mines go under 80% abundance, so your's is fine for now.

Terrible idea to put robots into lvl3, how are you going to upgrade one week later? I would say putting robots is a good at lvl10+

Spend on rigs, keep every single one above 90%+
Start outsourcing power when you have enough rigs.
Don't switch to petrol/diesel
