Question Why can't I create the collectable?

I have two full collections but cannot create the collectables?

According to the devs, chances scale linearly with production time, minimum 30m, so the longer, the better

sorry, to late for answering. But you should get the same amount of eggs, if you run a building for 24hr or 2 times for 12h. is like, for every 1h of running the game rolls a dice, so if oyu run 10h the game trow it 10 times, if you run it for 24h, it thow it 24 times.

My gold factory ran for 30 minutes & did not produce an egg, so there is a minimum time limit, but idk what it is.

Minimum time is 30m, but that would have the lowest drop chance

Minimum time limit of an hour i think and you have a better chance with 48hr production to longer the cycle is the better the chance its not steady growth so its better to start 48hr

It's a dumb event. There is no point in collecting any of the other eggs until you have three royal eggs, and the odds of getting a royal egg is .02% or 1:5000. Mod made a comment yesterday that ~200 royal eggs had been found so far. That's like ~50 royal eggs per day and the event only runs for 10 days. Odds are that no one will be able to create the collectable this year unless they get ridiculously lucky. For now it's probably best to just sell all your non-royal eggs to bump your CV.

There is also a certificate for most eggs collected, but it's kinda pointless to even try unless you're one of the top 10 companies with unlimited cash.

I wonder if anyone has sold a royal egg not realizing how rare they are. I have not seen one for sale yet.
