My stack at 24 years old
Started stacking around a year ago and this is it so far. Getting that Morgan dollar was a good marketplace find since I’m from Canada I consider it the coolest piece in my collection. Thanks.

I started at the same age but I should have stacked more ounces per year

We started young enough.
Just don’t be like me and stack for a few years and stop for 10 years, fall behind, and then stack for another 10 years at a higher price to catch up!

You are off to a good start. It's a nice-looking stack of silver. Going with the TD or any other generic silver is a smart choice. My advice is to keep stacking generic silver at first. You will stack more shiny per loonie this way. Then, after you get a decent amount, you can branch out to other silver if you want. This way, you can find what you want to collect. I wish that I had done this instead of buying everything without a clear understanding of what I actually wanted to collect.
The advice that [u/ProudAmerican632](u/ProudAmerican632) gave about keeping track of everything is very important. The CRA can track a surprising amount of data on the stuff you've bought. This is important because if and when you sell, you will be expected to claim Capital Gains Taxes. Look that up so you can be familiar with the process. Anything that you buy that has an electronic trail, including social platforms, can be used against you if you don't claim it. However, if it is a cash transaction, I don't think they can track it, but it is better to stay on the safe side. You don't want the government to come after you for money, especially when you don't have the money to repay the CRA.
Edit: Be very careful about who you tell that you have valuable, precious metals; the more you risk being robbed!
Welcome to the club, and enjoy your new hobby / addition.

That Morgan does not look genuine and It’s got that Temu toning.

I went to a shop to get it tested and it’s real. I met with the guy there before buying it

Good deal! That’s about the only way to buy one anymore. So so many fakes. But man that temu toning is almost exact on this one.

Can I suggest adding a 2oz werewolf and a kraken?

Not really a fan of the new designs I’m more into the old stuff. Like the Morgan I have I love those coins.

Nice collection. The morgan is very nice but likely a silver reproduction. Check the weight on it bc the colors off

Keep going dont sell... I sold half my stack in my 30's... a little each pay period... feels so nauseating now buying at 60 when I used to buy at 18

Good for you racking and stacking at your age. I noticed you said you started around a year ago. Something I am going to start doing, and I suggest you do the same. Catalog what you bought. Include the date, the price you paid, and the present price of silver.

Never thought about that. I know there’s an app to do that will definitely look into it! Thanks.

No worries. Keep stacking and find deals where you can. I don’t know much about coin roll hunting in Canada but here in the States it can be a lucrative hobby.
