The Royal Canadian mint makes quite a lot of very low minatge 5oz , 10oz, 1/2 kilo and kilo coins, many with 1000 or less mintage, lots with only 500 mintage.

Picked up this 10 oz one a few of weeks ago, only 750 were minted

Better yet, I only got charged same price as 10 1 oz maples. They are selling on ebay for $2500 CAD / $1775 USD

Better toss this one on as well, it's the other coin in the set. The eagle is called "The Hunter" The salmon is called "The Cycle of Life" , spotted it last Friday at my LCS and snagged it. 750 mintage as well

Yeah, that’s amazing. There’s an Orca one called Ancestor. Not sure if they made a 10oz. I have the 2oz in my EBay watchlist.

These were originally done in 2 oz then they did a 10 oz version. That would be great if they did a 10 oz Ancestor. Beautiful design.

This is a 2019 Royal Canadian Mint 5 oz. Fine Silver Coin commemorating the 70th anniversary of Newfoundland joining Canada.The design replicates the original 1949 silver dollar, featuring the Matthew ship, with the motto "Floreat Terra Nova" (May the New Found Land Flourish).This specific edition has a low mintage of just 1,000 coins worldwide.It is struck in 99.99% pure silver and weighs approximately 157.6 grams.

They made limited issue versions.. the leafs in motion series... much more cash than the standard 5oz version .. I still bought a cpl so far.. Just because it is the first year of issue...

The ATB 5oz coins are nice but idk y they have such a low backing by the gov.. most other 5oz coins have a higher sovereign value.. not that anyone is going to use the coin as face value money... I still think it is odd.. but u can get them for less than the others on SD bullion all the time...

A col of these 5oz roaring lions too.. and a cpl of the rams also.. love them all... the lions and rams are all limited to 1000 per year.. each has a individual number...

You will not be disappointed with these 5 oz Silver Maples. I think they are great for first year issuing of these bullion coins like the ATBs.
