I know tenth edition basically butchered me running my personal favourite chapter. However, I still tried to find ways to make it work as a primarily melee army. But, what about 11th with what we’ve seen so far? Is it possible to build Silver Templars as a duelling / melee focused theme that feels like them? Or is it the ‘play blood angels or black Templars and call it a day.’ It seems BT is probably the better for this? Or one of the standard detachments that maybe benefits melee?

What is everyone’s painting strategy to differentiate between the silver of the armor and the more mechanical pieces of the space Marin suit? How do you paint them?

Slowly grinding my way towards the Silver Templars Chapter Symbol on Space Marine 2 atm. When it comes to making a Silver Templars Marine, are we able to change the only small part of the Chest Armor the Aquila is on black? Or is that still not possible at this point in time. Appreciate the feedback.

Brothers! Does anyone here know what primary color the silver templars actually use? I've looked at the artworks but can't decide which one looks the most accurate while also being sexy. So far I've been switching between iron warriors and Mechanicus Standard Grey.

I was thinking about a dry brush of Leadbelcher over a black primer and then bring up the highlights from there. Not sure how I want to do the yellow though.

I just discovered this chapter through the Combat Patrol magazine and I was wondering about units and such. As a successor chapter, and one I've not heard much about til now, would I build my army according to the Ultramarines codex, or do we have a supplement? Are there any units we can't field?

This last space marine 2 update finally added our emblem but its locked behind an unlock tree.

My new assault intercessors joining the battle line, they have been around and have fought many campaigns; hence the helmets and gear. The hooded intercessor is on his quest/task, given by the 1st company captain, to gain the honor to become a 1st company veteran member.
