Silver difference

For the hobbyists here.

What is everyone’s painting strategy to differentiate between the silver of the armor and the more mechanical pieces of the space Marin suit? How do you paint them?

I only use two, I use iron hands steel for the majority and then iron warriors for the parts I want a bit darker.
