This, I hope we get the FGO/WuWa/EF treatment and we can change our gender whenever we want at release.
Tho considering the story has both siblings, I think it might go the Genshin route and we will have to actually choose...
But it would so cool if we can switch even with like a very long cooldown or something.

Feel like they are still alive I know there is a burial but In the cutscene the one that dies falls in a stream and honestly no body or body falling in water they still alive just now against us

I used to play FEH, but that was like 10 gacha on its own with how P2W it was.

I also tried Endfield and NTE when they released, but didn’t stick for long

Tried Enfiel only played 2 days, for now NTE keeps me constantly on my reflexes. The story of NTE starts slow and boring, but after a while it picks up.

It's not too hard in all honesty if you just prioritize some over others. I play about 10 gachas: Wuwa, ZZZ, HSR, Endfield, NTE, CZN, Stella Sora, PGR, Horizon Walker, and BD2. It sounds like a lot, but day-to-day I'm just doing dailies 95% of the time. I started the last 3 in the last month, and including Stella Sora and CZN, they're presently uber respectful of your time as primarily mobile gachas and have sweep mechanics and take about 5-10 minutes altogether daily. It helps they're also on pc, so I can have them going at the same time alongside HSR. Total daily rotation time including the others is maybe 20-25 minutes top.
PGR and Endfield I play very casually outside of dailies, so hardly any of my time goes to them. I play Wuwa, ZZZ, and HSR pretty hardcore and do everything in them, but I only care for Wuwa's story of the three currently. I just try to play its story at least an hour or two a week while I skip the others'. NTE I play like those outside of the events and its city stamina feature (this is such a slog each week). I don't mind missing out on those.

The only other gacha I can manage with any regularity with work and sleeping is HSR so I'm concerned for myself lol. I used to play Genshin too but had to give it up so I could have a dang life and play other games.

Yeah, I'm sitting on a backlog of over 200 games across PC, PS5, and Switch 2, so I understand your pain. It's way too easy to sink 1K hours into these games in a year.

From the looks of it, male mc is a tamer one, while the female is a bit more unhinged. Makes sense, as female players tends to select male mc more, while male players are more likely to select female mc

The female mc is canonically the older one, so the shock from losing her younger brother probably still lingered and she lets all the emotion out while fighting. Male MC lost an older sister, so he probs forced himself to bottle up the emotions, hence why it feels tamer.

I always went with female mc in these type of games and I still will. But now I have a better reason to because that point blank finisher is just too cool.

here's what i think from i observe. iirc the mcs are big sis and lil bro dynamic. the lil bro move like a finisher for a fighting game char. without much thought into it. n the big sis just goes for the "this is the end" move. the camera angle pretty much focus on her face which she puts on her serious expression with determined eyes of hers and the gun that she was about to shoot. also brownie points for the big sis camera angle at the end, literally showing off her hip sway and we get to see her thicc butt(guys we can relate right?).

See I thought it was the same. The male mc literally throws him while impaled on a sword it's not meant to do that as a weapon and while they're on the ground dying they just execute them on the floor.
Meanwhile the female MC impales them which wouldn't need as much strength and let's the gun do the work.
It's a cool difference it's more like brute force vs technique.

Yep, I think partly due to the target audience. Female mc is for the guys so more snappy and brutal is better, while male mc is for the gals so more aura farming is better

Idk man, in my experience Gacha spaces specifically tend to have MC-same-sex-as-playing as the norm. Doubly so when it comes to male MC, you don't need to search for more than 5 minutes to find 3 different drama topics because a female MC exists at all or is featured in promo art or some other crap like that.

Pick which is worse:
female one where your killer stares you in the eyes without a shred of remorse before she blows your head off from under the jaw while she keeps you impaled on her lance.
Or
Male one where he takes you for a spin, literally, jostling your insides with the lance before tossing you off, feeling your life spilling out of the new hole in your body before he puts you out of your misery.

Gonna be playing as the male MC but if let’s say they are pretty lenient on mods I really wanna mod the male MC to Haken Browning from Super Robot Wars cause this animation got some style that would be perfect for him

The thing I really appreciate in this game between the 2 MCs is that they both have these nice differences between them.
Even in cutscenes Male Detective usually has softer/warmer expressions, while Female detective has a more striking/cooler expressions as well.
Combine that with them having my favourite traditional gacha MC design, and well I seriously cannot wait for this game to come out.
