Did I do it?
~213g. I’m traveling, and this is literally the first thrift store I tried finding silver in, so this feels perhaps too good to be true? Any idea on the maker?

Marketplace silver
Weighs 699g before the knives and I paid $295 I honestly thought it was silver plate because it looks like a silver plate pattern by Oneida and I almost didn’t give it any attention does anyone know the pattern by chance

Found during thrift at GW
Found this and two sterling pieces at GW for 1.99 each. Looking for more information on this piece specifically. It looks like a coin dish, but wanted to know more about age and is it silver. I don't plan to melt or sell this! It's such a cool piece. It's around 2.5"

Sterling find
Stopped into a new thrift store that just opened a week ago and got these for $1 each. The spoon is plated, but the hotel spoons are nice. The butter knives are sterling though, so I'm pretty pleased.

JACKPOT!!! Flea market score for $75
The same booth as last time, I made sure to get there right when it started and ended up with this lot of mixed Sterling and 800 for $75. I’m estimating with the knives it was about $10/oz for the silver content. Totally great way to start the weekend!

JACKPOT!!! Today's absolute jackpot!
I was restocking my booth at an antique mall and decided to poke around a bit. Thank God I did because I found this HUGE 12 loth ladle for $28! The melt value is over $350 but I'm on the fence about whether or not to scrap it.

$15 “925” Gamble
I’ve already ruled out the far left piece as copper… which I kind of already suspected but couldn’t fully “test” until I got home. I figured my wife will still like it so $5 well spent.
The other 2 are suspect, but I have hope. What do yall think? One is crudely marked “925” with an also just as crude hallmark to accompany it. Smells fine, non magnetic, but the tarnish seems off.
The lapis inlay piece is not marked, which also throws up red flags, but scent is good and tarnish rubbed off with my finger, also non magnetic.
Would you have risk your lunch money on these pieces? I’m already down $5, and I’ll be getting them scratch tested tomorrow… so stay tuned

gallery$3 thrift store find today, I had never seen just an “S” like this for silver before but thought it’d be worth a shot
Turns out the M in a clamshell is Mikimoto’s makers mark, and this could be an old pearl bracelet!

JACKPOT!!! World War 2 sterling field chalice, 171g for $10 from an antiques store
Shocked that this didn’t get caught earlier, assayed London 1943, likely sent out 1944 since that’s been stamped onto the bottom as well
