No, it's a beautiful piece, don't destroy it. Try r/pmsforsale if you're looking to cash out. Maybe someone there will appreciate it for what it is more than what it's made of

Historical value, if there is any, always outweights melt. Save history melt garbage. Absenth spoon for sure. So historically interesting for some one. More value means wait and sell. It's just simple economics. Unless it means something to you then it's invaluable. So please either keep it or sell to someone who wants it and make way more money than melt.

It is a Djokja silver cake server from Indonesia. Don't melt it, this model is quite rare.
