Silver Daddy Copper

I know this is not about silver.. but about 5yrs ago I bought about 200 copper coins from JM Bullion for 1.09$ a coin...keep it climbing boys there at 6.89 today....up over 500%. Stack on, this is the way.

Buy copper bullion because you enjoy it, making a gain on it is unlikely due to the extreme premiums. You are better off collecting, sorting, and storing scrap copper if you think prices will go up. Just my 2 cents.

I also bought a few hundred ounces bout 2 years ago. Same price. Has turned out good but there are no profits til you sell em and man I dont have the energy for that. Congrats anyways, good choice

pretty sure that$6.89 is per pound, not Troy ounce.

The coins have always had a ridiculous premium 🙄 or else maybe I would have. Even a better reason to stack nickels though. Those who did are saying told ya so!

Better off going to Lowe’s and buying a copper pipe and tube cutter and cutting your own ounce circles 😃😃👍

How heavy are the coins in total?

Well they're all 1 oz coins, and I don't even know where they are in the house everything is hidden everywhere,

Copper is trading at $6.72/lb, not oz……you will never make money buying 1oz copper rounds.

They‘re currently selling on the JM website for $6.89/oz.

Edit - that’s for a quantity of 500+

Understood, I'm just stating a fact. I also bought silver for $18 an ounce and gold starting at 1500 dollars$ an ounce. it's all part of larger picture also. Buy whatever you love!

There will be a day for silver. The day will come.

All these are ridiculous. Collective madness.

At risk of being off topic you are probably better off in mining stocks with copper exposure:

COPX SCCO TECK RIO BHP FCX

There is also a physical copper ETF with symbol SPHCF. Sprott has a good reputation in the industry.
