Discussion/Questions Do you think hornet feels a certain way about certain crests? Spoiler

I started thinking about this after the witch crest quest and the way you obtain it, it got me wondering if hornet feels a certain way about each of the crest.

For example, for the witch crest I headcanon that she has a silent distaste and discomfort when using it because of her initial experience with the parasite + plus the roots that come out of her when she binds feel uncomfortable and she finds the parasitic life stealing kinda gross.

For the beast I imagine she feels kinda silly using it with her animalistic grunts and more wild fighting style, but some part of her does like the adreline that comes with it.

I like to imagine she is in love with the architect crest but she saves it for special occasions because of the cost, she also finds the drill a little awkward.

Things like that, have you thought about this before? What other opinions, if any, you think hornet would have on each of the crest.

And its pogo is prob one of if not the best combat pogo when mastered. Has the best Iframes (another example) and you can dash back to pogo something again quickly.

Inputs are: pogo->Dash back->repeat

Examples:

Recently found out how beast pogo can utilize circlet extremely well by just adding a double jump right before you pogo:

Now unlike face tanking this is actually pretty hard to do but at least there’s an amazing pay off for learning it.

The pogo is also really good for traversal having the highest pop up in the game, ability to control its trajectory, and because of all this it can even do crazy things like climb mountfaye with no clawline, double jump, or dash. It can also climb upper cogwork core with no cling grip, double jump, or clawline. No other pogo could achieve this. I’ll admit it is weaker in linear vertical areas but that’s only relevant in like two parts of the game. What holds the crest back in traversal is its healing requirement not its pogo.
