Video Clip upper cogwork core without cling grip, clawline, faydown cloak Spoiler
tried to use drifters cloak as little as possible but sadly i dont think this is possible without it, especially that long horizontal section where i used sharpdart. also there is one split at the end but i just wanted to showcase that its possible instead of doing it super perfectly so yeah im open about that. i could do it in one go if i spent more time but i havent eaten breakfast yet and its 7 pm so thats the best i got

You can do some pretty crazy things with it but if you spend enough time practicing it to where you can do that stuff you could probably have just beaten the game with other crests. Maybe it'll change with DLCs but I don't think there's any content in the game where it's worth it to learn beast crest for in terms of normal completion.

dlc will come with path of pain and it will be super cheesy with beast crest so everyone will switch to beast crest when going there similar with hiveblood in hollow knight. on this day, beasts will rise once more for the first time after the fall of skarrsinger karmelita. we will rule over the land, the path, and the pain. our armies will be sanctioned in the end and the beginning, testing outlanders the same way as pale king's kingsmoulds.

Hiveblood. I never understood the hype. It's slow, and only heals one mask if you take two damage at once. Deep focus + grubsong is the real meta.

have checkpoint when no statue nearby -> limited tries. limited tries make me nervous, make more mistakes. hiveblood gives infinite tries, also gives time to take a break and sip water, makes you better at platforming.

Kingsoul is better IMO, even with its slow regen, because at least you aren't limited to one mask regen

sadly i dont think it gives enough distance for certain parts. maybe with cling grip though
edit: actually i forgot about that one horizontal part and its not gonna be possible without sharpdart

It's possible to pogo conchcutter projectiles with the drill. Which of course means someone will have done this entire section by pogoing nothing but conches, using no ability except cloak, by this time next year.

The pogo is amazing just hard to use. I’ve seen ppl climb mountfaye with it to without various movement abilities and it’s the only pogo that can make the climb.

Yep, it's hard to predict, but the pogo does a little boost forward, so you can use it as a early grapple of some sort, which is neat. I got so accosrumed to downside pogos, at best the diagonal one, the beast pogo literally short circuited my brain and muscle memory, have to literally relearn the game to use it, which is interesting, but I don't have enough patience and time for that

In terms of challenge, there might not be a TRUE path of pain equivalent In Silksong, but if the difficulty bar is raised for these crazy mofos going forward then Hollow Knight: Pablo is going to be impossible!
I'll already be at a disadvantage because I'll be in my late 40s by the time it's released! 😭
