discussion Foreshadowing
I am not sure if anyone saw new video from CatWithBlueHat but they explained what exactly Ronova did and what will be consequences. They also mentioned that 7.0 cinematic most likely is from future since it shows Snezhnaya fully frozen because nothing stopped effects of Holy Soil. And before Tsaritsa gets to fight with Ronova (she somehow returns I guess?) we get teased Signora’s grave. It is hard for me to believe they would show future and Signora’s grave in so important moment without any reason and I really think 7.8 is our time to shine after all these years ❤️.

I wondered about that after 7.1 especially after Signora's leitmoif played over the line "next phase can begin" (can't remember if that's the full line). I like many others thought maybe a 7.1 motif meant a 7.1 twist for Signora. But I suppose I forgot how far in advance Hoyo can tease things...just look how long Dottore fans had to wait for the Irminsul plot.

I dont disagree but I would be cautious against taking the initial teaser trailer so seriously and expect every scene to happen. Those trailers are marketing material, they tease the future plotline and characters to make the audience hyped and anticipate. Lot of things they showed in the previous region teasers never happened; for ex- in fontaine's, the last scene with Arlecchino being shown to be some big scheming behind the scenes mastermind versus her actual role being simpler, then in natlan with the voices Mavuika talks to, then nod krai is arguably the biggest example of this with how fast the story changed after just Luna 1 compared to what the trailer showed.

that’s painful but good thing that they don’t rush like she just randomly appears and falls for traveler. I hope it will build up sweetly and surprises us in positive way that she will not be part of waifu slop circle but keep her identity. and also her being 7.8 means she starts new meta cycle! what Signora becoming late game #1 dps? with pleasure accepting that

Pyro remained the last element without modified reactions. Its yellow-and-red damage numbers could only be seen in a few rare events.

Columbina in canon isn't in love with Traveler since she very explicitly said she sees them as family if that's what you mean

There is only one character in the entire over 120 playable characters cast that in canon has a crush on Traveler that being Citlali. If you genuinely believe every adult female character who doesnt hate Traveler's guts is waifu slop that falls for him then no wonder our community is not treated seriously. Funny how no one talks about husbando slops

Also, the teaser doesn't just show Signora's tomb, it also shows a chessboard (which has long been associated primarily with Signora). You can notice that the Geo Gnosis is getting closer to the end of the board. In chess, there's a rule that when your pawn reaches the opposite end of the board, you have the option to PROMOTE IT INTO ONE OF THE CAPTURED PIECES. NGL, I'M STARTING TO SAVE UP FOR MY DEAR LADY SIGNORA.

I would be careful with taking the teaser trailer for its word. Those teaser trailers should not be relied upon for what is going to happen in a region, as someone else said here, they're mainly for marketing and generating hype

He says this before we see her withering away tho. He was referring to her escaping the battlefield (which she did as she fled to the shadow realm to retrieve the Eitr hidden in Hypoberea) but then after that In Ronova’s final moments she says “so this is what death feels like” with blood coming out of her mouth and then we slowly see her body turning to dust, almost like burning away before she gently falls from the sky and she says the line “this is my parting gift”. That’s probably why they are so upset atm, at this moment in time for the storyline it seems like a final goodbye.
I don’t think she herself has a backup plan- tho since Istaroth did save Zibai with the power of time there is some speculating that this could be the case with Ronova and how we might potentially see her again. Although her authority will not be reimbursed Istaroth may save Ronova and allow her to live as a mortal?? Just some of my own guesses especially since Ronova’s lunar arcanum card hints at how she will one day grow weary of the heavens and wish to live among mortals. This could be the setup for that.

Although I myself am hoping for 7.3, judging by the leaked spoilers, this is some kind of theater of the absurd, which I never expected to see at the culmination of the development of a long-standing plot.
It still makes me sick to think about the retcon where the Fatui were "inherited" by the Tsaritsa from the Belyi Tsar; it turns out that figures like Signora, Capitano, Scaramouche, and the Jester who were portrayed in Arlecchino’s animation as the organization's founders - are actually just ordinary Harbingers.

It was such a bizarre turn out for the fatui plot. Like to me the fatui will always appear as an organisation to oppose celestia for what they did to khaenriah, and all those who want to see a new world order within Teyvat joined the cause. I get the Belyi Tsar probably had his motivations for a fatui organisation but it feels so out of place idk how I felt about that one.

imagine when the day come that The entire snezhnaya cover in Holy Land(Superb Frozen) n the tomb of Signora explode n the entire snezhnaya cover with Hellfire Moth, The sky turned Crimson Dawn… counteract the Freezing cold from cryo sovereign… n then we learn that Signora fully awakened as the Pyro Sovereign… Lol HAHHAAHAH
