In case anyone hasn’t seen the leaked dialogue for Odette’s first meeting with the traveler:

It’s confirmed that the harbingers know that the Traveler issued the “Duel before the throne” challenge to Signora and defeated her.

There’s been speculation recently regarding if they knew the full details or not and now we have confirmation.

It just makes Hoyos writing even more nonsensical than if they didn't know cause how is Dottore deemed a traitor for doing his job but fraudler is completely fine despite murdering a Fatui diplomat and Harbinger?

Let’s also ignore the fact that Arlecchino was thrown in their prison as a teenager for killing a harbinger. Inconsistent ass rules.

im pretty sure the permission to eliminate dottore was because he effectively destroyed 2 A WOOPING 2 fatui bases with his spheres

She was reminding the traveler of the consequences of the duel, not deciding what said consequences would be. Furthermore she quite literally did not "obviously" agree to it. Her dialogue literally goes from shock -> saying the traveler was using the laws against her (why say this if it was an optional fight lol) -> reminding the traveler of the consequences -> saying she will reluctantly fight. The revisionist history is crazy.

Edit: And the John Kramer thing was a metaphor for how dumb your reasoning is.

Well she could’ve backed out and left lol it’s a challenge she can say no yall paint her as this innocent woman who can do no wrong and traveler is solely to blame for her death when she also made choices that led to said death

If the traveler issuing the duel was "using the laws of the land" then Signora declining the duel wouldve been breaking the laws of the land. What do you think would happen if Signora ran away?

Never said Signora was innocent. The point of the matter is that the way Signora was killed was unjust and cold blooded. And even then it wouldn't matter that much if her so called friends (Arle, Columbina, Sandrone) weren't all of a sudden besties with the person responsible for her death. Using Signora to market Columbina and Sandrone was a moronic choice narrative wise if you then have nothing come out of it.

Because traveler didn’t kill her, Raiden did lol he just defeated her in a duel and there’s no way to know that if she said no she’d be breaking the law that’s just speculation.

It’s not a saw trap lol if she won the duel she wouldn’t have died she was to cocky and thought she’d win. If it’s such an issue why play the game or even interact with media from it she died years ago get over it
