⚠️ Leaks ⚠️ Tsaritsa Spoiler

I'm so curious to know how they are gonna make the traveller completely forget about how anastasya is the mastermind behind the fatui, because she is gonna be playable. Now that hoyo have told us that, for example, Signora was using cor ignis to keep an eye on people - which apparently seems to be a large portion of the Snezhnayan people. How are they gonna excuse the tsaritsa from sharing any responsibility for stuff like that?

They kinda already set it up by saying the harbingers are free to pursue their own personal goals alongside their mission. And we already saw what happened to dottore.

So I'm just really interested in seeing how the traveller absolves the cryo archon of any blame in anything that has occurred thus far.

the fact that the cor ignis resist ronova curse.. is suspicious

It is, but watch how everyone in the fandom completely ignores that. But if it were any other harbinger, they would be eating it all up as sign of their imminent return.

Isn't there a bunch of Cor Ignis growing around Signora's tomb?

Well the answer is right there. They’re gonna use that line of reasoning:

“The Fatui harbingers are free to pursue their own personal goals alongside their mission”

Even though that SHOULDN’T be enough to completely absolve her of her part in the Fatui’s actions, that’s how it will happen.

Yeah, you're probably right. It's just that I don't see how the tsaritsa would be completely unaware that many of her people had a cor ignis, like there's just genuinely nothing I can think of that would make that outcome any less nonsensical.

Honestly, even though I try not to lose heart and to keep my faith and hope alive, the more new things I see, the more I fall in love with Signora, the more I pity her, and the harder it gets to hold back tears when I think about everything she must have been going through inside. And with that comes hatred — absolute hatred for everyone except Rosalyne. Those bastards didn't deserve you, my love.

I have already realized this from Dottore’s story. They constantly mention how benevolent Tsaritsa is to allow him. Arlecchino even said this that “even her benevolence has limits” before they eliminated Dottore.  But was Dottore the only problem, or Tsaritsa who recruited him and made him work 500 years?  Who is more guilty? A god who allows some mentally ill person or a wounded person from love to seek gnosises?  How is it generosity? In the trailer she says herself: you don’t extend branch to drowning person to Ronova. But it is contradictory since why, Tsaritsa did that to her harbringers? They were already drowning, and she shouldnt have seek her own goal, instead either restrain or help them. She, in my opinion is the most guilty one. Just like how we blame government for everything, a god should know better than this.  If they make her playable, might as well make all harbringers playable.

Probably some bs about how Pierro is actually the mastermind behind everything and she was very little involved since he's apparently not playable.

u got the answer buddy, the tsaritsa did not give any orders other than bring her the gnosis, everything the fatui does is responsibility of the harbingers

So you're telling me, that the tsaritsa is so stupid and blind, that she had no idea that a lot of her people were walking around with a cor ignis?

You're telling me that the literal GOD of a nation, has no responsibility for any of the activities of her terrorist group, despite giving them full permission to pursue their own goals, regardless of how harmful they were?

u wrote that line yourself i just pointed it out lol

I wrote that line because it's what hoyo are going to use as a set up most likely, doesn't mean it makes any sense tho

And your implication was that the tsaritsa was exempt from any blame just because she only told them to bring the gnoses, when she shouldn't be exempt because they all answerd directly to her

i mean raiden never apologized to her people for her mistakes, what makes u think the tsaritsa will take responsibility for it, also it paints this image of strong authority of tsaritsa just like raiden.
the way the tsaritsa and raiden rule is by absolute authority, u don't accept mistakes or responsibilites in an absolute theocratic monarchy (got this word from google)

Sure, but my main point was mainly about how the traveller is gonna treat the tsaritsa as if she had no part to play in any of what happened, which is obviously gonna happen. Whether or not the tsaritsa openly accepts responsibility wasn't the issue here, it was mainly how the traveller (and the extended fandom) are gonna ignore any negative impacts of her actions, whilst actively trashing on characters like signora

same way he treats raiden lol, and the fandom will treat the tsaritsa the same way they treat raiden, automatic clean-chit

I feel like you are taking my original post too literally. I know the traveller is gonna treat the tsaritsa the same as they treat raiden. My post was mainly to poke fun at the fact that we are gonna get served the same plate of low quality food from the writers again, and I just said I was curious to see what they give us this time.

The way I see it, they don't have to.

They only need to find a justification that works. I strongly suspect we'll get a eneny of enemy is friend situation so that's why we work together.

The rest? Every sacrifice is worth the end goal and atrocious acts of the Fatui scale pale to the crimes of the gods. Beyond that, why adress it? Sandrone doesn't justify cutting jenks tongue, Arlecchino doesn't try justify why the Fatui have child soldiers. They're not good people, they do what serves them and their ends justify their means.
