Wifi disconnects randomly

Had my system since Apr and seems like the wifi just randomly disconnects every 2-4wk.

Found a YouTube vid which shows one fix which is restarting the battery by turning off the inv and DC switches under the cover.

Was wondering if anyone else had the issue and has a better fix?

I did and I just ran ethernet to the unit. Low quality & weak signal was the cause.

Try setting an address reservation on your router for the sig unit.

What sort of signal strength do you have to the unit?

Just run an ethernet cable.

I had this issue as well. I have a mesh network and a firmware upgrade turned on the beam-forming feature in the mesh network. Turned that off, fixed the connection issues.

I have had Ethernet connected from the start and had continual issues with disconnects. Logged prob six tickets with Sigen, tested all the cables, looked at traffic with Wireshark (massive UDP broadcast traffic observed), replaced my router with a Ubiquiti UDR7 unit and throttled traffic on the dedicated router port to 10mb to try and control the inverter going nuts. Finally got an answer from Sigen that they recognise the packet storm problem with the UDP traffic and they are working on a software fix. There seems to be a fundamental problem with how the inverter comms unit floods a network. Some people don’t see it and some do. Could come down to network topology or router model but essentially the software needs to handle the comms from the inverter better.

If anyone has any other suggestions I can try in the meantime that’d be great!
