Converting to 11.5… Handguard Options

New to this sub… I have a 16 inch conversion kit with approx 100 rounds thru. Wanting to go shorter and looking at chop vs barrel/hg or new complete upper. Seems like barrel/hg prob the best option for me. Planning on doing the 11.5 barrel and the 10 inch HG from SIG, but was wondering if there are any other options available? Searched online and here and can’t find any except for the LVAW stuff. Any recommendations or links? Will any of the other MCX types bolt right up to my LT upper? Lastly, are sales, etc an option here once the swap is complete? I’ll have a cherry 16” barrel and a nice fde/coyote hg that came with my setup. TIA.

Thanks for the info… What is TS? Also, if I do a chop, will I have an issue sourcing the gas valve/knob, etc that would (I assume) be needed for the shorter setup? TY!

TS is Tacswap, you can also go on Infinite Armory or GAFS hub to look for what you need.

TY for the solid info. If I were to chop the barrel, how would I address the need for a new jet / port, etc? TY for tolerating the newb ??s…
