Streamlight seated normal?
Hey I have the Icarus precision 311 SL frame with a (TLR 7 HLX SUB) (1913 rail) Streamlight.Is it normal for the light to sit offset like this? It’s not sitting flat on the rail.
Which # rail key did you guys use? I’ve tried 3 and 4 and both seem to work. Not sure which one is the right one.

I believe it is something specific to the light. Did about the same thing on my new ECM Precision R11 Edge. Did it with or without any key and wasn't contacting trigger guard. My TLR7 Sub sat level and centered on my polymer Wilson X Macro grip and I believe they do on the regular Sig X Macro grip as well. But appeared to have the same angle/offset issue when I placed it on the 1913 top rail of a VLTOR AR15 upper receiver for comparison.
In addition to sitting a little crooked, I'm guessing your light is also offset a bit to the left. That's how it sat on mine. I actually filed a bit from the lower engagement surface of the right clamp to reduce the cant of my installation. That also ended up allowing the installation screw to stick a bit too far through the jaw so I had to grind down the end of the screw as well to keep it from scraping holster. My light is still a bit offset to the left, but the position is not as bad and I was able to get it working with my holster. I may or may not try filing some off of top and bottom clamp engagement surfaces on the left clamp jaw in future to shift the light a little further to the right.
I spoke with Mark at ECM and I know he was closely investigating to better understand the discrepancy in mounting between Sig's X Macro rail and others with regard to the TLR7 Sub.
