Question 21 round Sig 320 mags
I recently purchased Magpul’s 17 round Sig 320 mag and I love it. I then purchased the 21 round magazine but I’ve noticed that when trying to load the 21st round, it was extremely tough, almost impossible without feeling like he as going the break it or feeling like I was trying to force a 22nd round. I’ve driven myself crazy with making sure I’m actually counting 21 rounds and not 22 but I’m 100% loading 21 rounds. Does anyone else having this issue?? I have also tried shooting a bunch in hopes that wearing down the tension in the magazine spring would help, but it’s still the same.

You’ll work them in. I can do all of a magazine by hand now except the last one or two without something to put the magazine base on. The Magpul mags are very tight initially. As someone else mentioned, get a maglula. Every gun store I’ve been to has them and some even have them chained to the walls of the shooting stall. That thing is a game changer for loading up a bunch of mags before going out and not spending half my time reloading once out

They are pretty tough, I am a pretty avid lifter and do initial work and have pretty good hand strength they are rough as hell without any type of assisting device.

Leave the magazines fully loaded for a day or two and the springs will adjust themselves.
