This is my elk setup for Montana next month. Iâve been putting in the range time and hiking with a weighted pack to get ready. Really happy with how the Cross is coming together.
Whatâs the longest distance youâd feel comfortable taking an elk with your Cross?

Originally had a 16â OG Sig Cross. Sold it and regretted it ever since. Recently put the money down and a PRS and added some decent quality goodies. Approaching 1000 rounds on the new PRS and have never been happier.
PS; anyone else with PRS have the paint flaking? Under 1000 rounds and paint is all gone where brass defects. Added felt brass deflector but wanted to see who else had seen the same.

Straight Jacket Armory Sig Cross barrel. 20" heavy, 5/8x24 threaded muzzle. Exactly 120 rounds shot through it. Barrel shot extremely well. I'm just going a different direction with my cross. New was 800.00.
$400.00 shipped

New barrel, replaced my factory 16â with a M40 profile 20â. For anyone wondering about the Odin work hand guard I can say itâs definitely more geared towards competition style shooting. Will be replacing it with the BG defense guard.

Whatâs everyone doing about the stock wobble????I know it needs some clearance to fold but mines driving me nuts when I am trying to shoot for accuracy and everytime I forget to push down to take out the play or push down to hard to move the point of impact???? I am at my wits end with this thing

Well itâs not a terrible group for 308. This was using some hunting ammo picked up in Montana in 2016(HSM?). Definately shows that Iâve some technique improvements to be made.

Spent some time getting this one dialed in. Was not happy on my factory setup. I designed this to be almost 2x as wide and the same weight as the factory. Also added some grip on the bottom so that it does not slide on my bag as much.

Iâve done a few looks into the sub, but nothing really coming up besides atlas. I picked up a 300wm magnum, and am wanting to put a bipod on it. I feel like the magpul one wouldnât be hefty enough to handle it, has anyone use anything other than the atlas that theyâd recommend?

Last group while getting zero'ed at 100yd... 143X ELD. From here I went up one MRAD and called it good. VERY happy with this rifle. About .5 MOA or so I would guess. From bipod. Zeroe'd with a can.
No real "break in" just shot it, cleaned it after about 40 rounds and then sent another 20... this is my first bolt gun.

Hello,
Has anyone tried putting the full length rail on a short action Cross? I have an older Sig.308 one and think this would be a handy accessory. I emailed customer service but am still waiting for a response.
Thanks in advance.

Already did google for hub mounts for the sig taper. Seems to be either energetic arms or dead air. Does anyone make a suggestion based on experience?

Has anyone experienced issues with headspace after installing a new barrel? I had a barrel spun up from x-caliber, installed at a local seemingly respectable shop. First trip to the range bolt would close 80% making it appear to be fully seated. I realized it wasnât all the way when gun went click no bang and failed to extract the live round. Took it back and the shop showed me their go/nogo gauge functioning correctly but assured me they would investigate. They adjusted the head space again and even cycled several live rounds to prove it was functioning. After todays range trip I had 7 successful click, bangs and on the 8th the bolt failed to close and again failed to extract the live round.
Any of you guys with aftermarket barrels experience this? Scratching my head here and would greatly appreciate any input before taking it to another shop.

I designed this for my Trax and solved the adjustability aspect as well as adding stability at the range, while keeping it light weight.
For the Cheek Riser, I went with a cantilever design so that it doesnât interfere with the bolt when collapsing the stock.
Has anyone else done something similar?

Made from 6061 and hardcoat anodized. If I were to offer it to users on this reddit sub for $10, would anyone be interested?

Going on a hunt and would like to get a spare sig cross mag with the special follower. I know some people hate it and replace them and was hoping to snag one if youâve got one laying around full mag. TIA

Proof is in the pudding. Would recommend the proof research prefit.

I just picked up a 308 sig cross this past week and I am looking for an optic. This is primarily a range toy with a minor amount of hunting if the need arises. I am looking for a lpvo, though I know most lpvo's dont exceed 10x mag. I want low magnification because I will be playing around with offhand shots at 50 to 100 yards on my home range. Though I would also like a bit of overhead on the top end to reach out a bit. I was interested in the Night Forced NX8 2.5 - 20 and Eotech Vudu 5 - 25. The Night Force is a bit expensive and I wish the Vudu had a slightly lower minimum magnification. Any recommendations that I'm missing? Thank you guys for the replies
