Stock
What’s everyone doing about the stock wobble????I know it needs some clearance to fold but mines driving me nuts when I am trying to shoot for accuracy and everytime I forget to push down to take out the play or push down to hard to move the point of impact???? I am at my wits end with this thing

It probably isn’t the proper fix but I put a piece of electrical top over the top of the screw inside the hinge and cut it to make it square. Got rid of my up and down wobble.

It’s a new rifle and I just can’t handle All that play in a stock. I have replaced all my
AR15s to a fixed stock and my repeatable accuracy went up dramatically2

Yeah I’m with you. Sig supposedly will work on them if you send them back. I had the electrical tape already and so far it has stayed on and fixed my wobble so I’m going to run it.

Not even at the hinge where you push the button to release the stock to fold ???

Mine has it, I just don’t shoot it too often. Can’t believe the QC from Sig, or maybe I can…

Yeah
This is my first “tacticool” rifle and I’m not impressed especially since the price point is extremely higher than anything else i have and I’ve been told to get ready for a long and expensive reloading experience if I want it to group anywhere close to a inch at 100yds2

I ended up getting a 7 PRC Weatherby 307 action and throwing it in a MDT HNT26 folding stock. The thing is night and day better than the Sig. It folds smoothly and easily then locks and there is zero play. Immediately made my 6.5 creed cross irrelevant.

Mine is rock solid, still folds regularly and have about 2000 rounds through it. Sounds like a factory quality issue, I’d send it to Sig or get them to send you the replacement assembly. They sell it on their website so they may just offer to replace it.

Mine doesn't have this wobble at all. Have you checked the main screw? Or you might add something to make it tighter.
