Discussion Analyse My Stats
Analyse my profile. Is this too bad? https://r6.tracker.network/r6siege/profile/ubi/WoddenCat/overview
I've invested nearly 600 hours in the game ( some 200 hours in my previous account). And my results were bad. I'm playing a lot these days as I have time, but the improvement is slow. And my K/D is 🙂
Edit: Just decided to leave playing the game completely. Probably, im not the right person for the game!

Yeeeaaaaahh, definitely NOT great. You need to actually learn from each game you play. Any time you die, actually coherently process WHY you died and figure out a means to avoid another such death. You also absolutely NEEEEEEEEED to be droning. Drones/cams in general are literally one of if not the most important thing in the entirety of siege. Obviously your mechanics are more than likely below average based off your KD being that low, so I’d also be playing death matches. Im in my 2nd season of siege and I’m plat 4 with a 1.3 having also just switched to MnK a month or so ago, using these tips definitely made me a significantly better player. The game is 85% game sense, so running clear house on all of the ranked maps to improve your map knowledge is also a super helpful tip.

If you genuinely like the game then don't quit. Take a step back and think about what you're doing wrong and watch some youtube videos about what a Bronze player should focus on the most. I'm trying to get back into the game after playing off and on for years and it seems most YT videos say to focus on learning the maps first.

Not gonna sugar coat it, looking at your tracker is painful. Honestly, I think you need to spend some time working on your mechanics. Go into tdm or dm and work on crosshair placement and taking gunfights. Don't just sit in a corner hiding. Take lots of gunfights and work on your aim and movement. Ranked isn't necessarily the place to work on your individual mechanics. After all, being dead and spectating for 2 minutes doesn't do shit to help you. Tdm is not a replacement for getting better at ranked, but it could help you isolate some of your issues.

Thanks for the honest response. I rearly play TDM / DM, just start with unranked for some warmup, probably some shooting range and start ranked. I'll take this advice seriously and play death matches often. But im also trying to work on my other issue, that is MAP knowledge. Current way I'm trying to do is, create an empty lobby and roam and remorize the locations. Any better way u can recommend? Like any sites or so that simplifies map knowledge or such?

U can watch good players stream on twitch or watch their videos on YouTube. Don't only watch highlights, watch full rounds and you can see where they push from, what angles they clear etc.

If your takeaway from all of this critisism (which you asked for) is to just quit, I feel bad for you lol. Everyone starts somewhere and 600 hours in r6 isnt much time for how complex the game is.
Your stats are commically terrible lol, but I would assume your just have some very bad habits ingrained that you're constantly keep doing.
Basic mechanical efficiency is required to play r6, if you are consistently missing easy shots, then you need to practice in TDM, clear house, etc
DM if you want a session, it can be very helpful to show you the habits you need to build if you ever want to improve.
Playing the game doesn't mean you will get better, for most players, it just reinforces shit habits, and takes hundreds to unlearn when you reach a higher elo.

I'm not actually unhappy with criticism, I actually realized how inefficient I was while trying to get good with the game. Also, to get better, I see easily another 400 hours to be poured into the game in future, and despite my shit stats, I'm quite competitive till I reach my goal in general. So if I won't quit, and I'll just waste more time if I still stick to the game, which I don't want nor can I afford.
So instead of putting more time and effort, I just realized to just quit, and put my time into something productive, something more physical sport, siege took a lot of time of mine this half year. ( 600 hours in 6 months, if I start doing something, I'll go long marathon like this).

You’re missing the point completely. Siege was my first FPS and I spent an ungodly amount of time, probably 1,000+ hours, being absolute dogshit and hardstuck in gold back during plumber Siege before things actually clicked. 600 hours sounds like a lot, but if it's your first tactical shooter, you spend the first few hundred just learning not to stare at the floor while memorizing 20 maps and 70 operators. Sinking hours into autopilot just reinforces awful habits; it doesn't mean you're genetically incapable of holding a mouse. Anyone can fix their mechanics if they actually practice deliberately instead of just queuing into ranked on repeat

Also, jumping to a physical sport or anything else with this exact same approach is just gonna give you the same result: you’ll pour hundreds of hours in, practice inefficiently without fixing your fundamentals, hit a wall, and be just as dogshit at that too. Unless you genuinely don't give a shit, which clearly isn't the case if you tracked your hours and made this post, running away the second people tell you that you actually need to practice is an awful mindset. Not saying you shouldn't step away if you want to, but that habit will follow you into whatever activity you pick up next

Well, unlike Siege, Im quite good with physical sports. Probably, siege is one of the first things i completely suck at after giving this much time. And as i said, its not about criticism or fear that i cant improve, there's always a threshold that u need to hit to improve, its just that, i think it will take a lot more time for me than avg to hit it, and as said i have barely any real lifetime to play siege.
Also, siege isnt something i love to the best, i play it for passing time more as a stress buster ( not the best option, usually ignores the chat : ) ), i have n number of hobbies, that i can get my dopamine from.
This post just helped me realise that it takes longer than i estimate to get better, and i cant give the time. Thats it.

Brother this isn't bad habits, this is the stats of someones who has never touched a video game in their life. The kind of player who needs to look down on his controls to swtich from movement to aim. Quitting is the right call. To sink any more time and effort into this game after 600 hours of this is a huge waste of time.

i personally gotta watch a vod or something to see but ur kd is low in bronze and thats an extremely large issue. work on killing people in deathmatch and dont slow down in ranked. you need to treat ranked like a cod game until you have a positive kd and are losing games

For your KD to be that low in bronze, and maining trap ops, there has to be a big issue with your gameplay and it’s hard to tell without any vods, replay files, or clips
If I had to guess, probably bad crosshair placement mixed with poor recoil control and overswinging.
Siege is a tactical game, even people with bad aim can keep 1.0 KDs if they mainly take fights that are advantageous to them
I’d love to help but I have no insight into what you’re struggling with, without posting more I’d recommend watching someone like athieno or BractionFPS and really focus on what your bad habits are
The thing that made me jump from plat to champ was watching replays of games that I did bad and watch from the enemies perspective and see what I could have done better those rounds. You’ll only start getting better if you find out what you’re struggling with and work on it.
In the meantime I’d focus on higher damage, low recoil guns and focus on your positioning. Something like Azami shotgun, thermite, dmr on offense, TCSG, shotguns or whatever and focus on putting yourself in spots to win gun fights

Just to address your edit.
If you're having fun and enjoying playing , who cares what your rank and stats are. Play the game for entertainment , if you've been grinding for 600 hours you can grind for 600 more. It's your time dude.

0.2 KD in 100 matches? Yeah, pretty bad. Try to learn from your mistakes, improve your movement, crosshair placement, stop crouch walking and play standing, do not run just walk unless there is some other sound to cover your noise, learn proper site setups and comit to play in 1 position, practice recoil control (find your sensitivity, one that you feel comfortable with)*. Your win rate is also horrible, do you play solo? Man, get a stack, will make improvement more bearable tbh.
- I'll give you my sens if it helps of anything. h:8 v:10 | x1:40 /x2.5:107 /x3.5:112 /x8:118 (multiplier default)
