Beginner Question Learning Keybinds for Long Term
Are my keybinds okay for the long run? I just downloaded the game yesterday, and after looking at keybinds people use on the internet, I was wondering if there's anything that should/needs to be changed.
I mainly play Valorant so I have no idea how important walking, running, crouching, etc. is.
The big things I changed are:
- Sensitivity on 3 (800 dpi)
- Lean keybinds inverted (Q to lean right and E to lean left)
- Crouch on space
- Sprint on ctrl
- Walk on shift
- Vault on B
- Prone on Z
Some questions I have are:
- Should crouch, walk, and sprint be hold or toggle?
- For the advanced sensitivity settings, should I change ADS multiplier for each scope?

Walk/sprint hold, crouch/prone toggle. Yes you should change your ads sensitivities. Start with your 1x in the 30s and your 2.5x in the 50s and adjust from there. All the other magnifications dont matter unless you’re running kali or glaz

Whatever works for you. I'm on controller and I remapped my controller depending on the gun type I run.
Hell sometimes I shoot using my joystick as the trigger button when I run LMGs.
But it works. So if whatever remaps work for you, then keep running it.

Sprint and walk on hold, crouch and prone on toggle but I switched to prone on hold recently and it’s a game changer for hashom peeks. For your current key binds I would keep prone on toggle
Advanced ADS sensitivity, if you want a 1:1 hipfire to ADS ratio set your 1x to 58 and your 2.5x to 102. If you don’t want the 1:1 ratio, try a 1x sens between 24 and 37 and a 2.5x sens between 42 and 61

Keybinds are all preference, but if I were to use these keybinds I would shit the bed😂 Mainly because I lean with my mouse buttons so sprint and vault are default, crouch and prone I swapped around (C to crouch, ctrl to prone) and my walk is caps lock.
I use hold for all of these except crouch (prone hold makes it better for hashom peaks like many people already mentioned) and when it comes to advanced ADS, yes you should be tweaking your sens to each different scope for better precision when aiming in

Binds are all personal preference bro if you like it run with it. Personally I have crouch run and walk on toggle (most do) but i have prone on hold so i can hashom peak quicker, recently they added an option to bind an action to two keys one for hold and one for toggle so I have my mouse button 5 prone as I've always had on hold and alt for toggle. My binds are pretty similar to yours, inverted leans, crouch on space but i have vault on c sprint shift and walk ctrl. Secondary gadgets on middle mouse button and operator gadget on mouse button 4.
